Welcome to Cycle 63!
First of all, I'd like to personally thank you all for filling out my 2020 Origin Olympics survey! Either question had pretty clear splits as to what you would prefer, and I appreciate it so much.
The Origin Olympics are an annual character-driven series of events oriented around the three types of rolls. There is a
Magicka Show, Wrestling Tournament, and Obstacle Course - for Magic, Physical Combat, and Other, respectively. Come and show off what you've got; each event is based off of a mixture of RNG and in-character creativity, so
everyone has a chance regardless of progression or how many spells, techniques, or tactics they have.
I plan to open registration and the in-character preparation period for the Olympics on
July 5th @ 12:00 AM EST. Registration will be open for two weeks, leading right up into the beginning of the Olympics (
July 19th!) at which point entries won't be accepted (except in special cases, such as members joining in that period!)
There will be
two characters per player allowed in each event, and characters can be registered in multiple events at once. They won't be happening concurrently in-character. You can still have as many characters as you'd like helping with in-character setup, obstacle course preparation, organizers, and competition judging, though!

2018 and
2019's Olympics posts for how registration will go and the magicka rewards for participation.
This is a low-stakes, fun event and I hope you all get a chance to participate in some way and win big!
