Between the twin pools of The Eyes, there was a beautiful chrysalis, aquamarine, it was a mixture of light blue and teal. It was a suitable place for such a chrysalis, as it was where a water user was going to hatch.

Warm. That was the first thought that came into her mind as she became conscious. It was warm and comfortable. Something told her to stay here, where she could feel like this forever, safe in the chrysalis of aquamarine stone. But a stronger feeling told her to break out of it. Because it was time, time for the little wolf pup to emerge.

It started with a kick. Her hind leg struck out at the wall, and she felt a crack. Another thrust, and the crack got bigger. It was time for the final push, the one that would break it. She gathered her strength, and headbutted the crack right in the center. For a moment, nothing happened, then the crack enlarged, and the chrysalis burst.

Comet fell onto a clump of ferns, that softened her fall, and laid there for a moment. Where was she? What was this place? She immediately wanted to go back into the chrysalis, but something else called her. A call that came from the trees of the forest of Eridanus. Whatever it was, she would follow it. It was time to start her journey.
