Sunny's, or, Voidmother's musings made Madhukar smile. It brought her... pride. Did she deserve such a thing? Was it okay for her to feel... proud, at this point? Of her power? It could hurt. But she could control it. For them, she could control it. With this new title -- she wasn't giving up her name -- "Voidclaw", she could remind herself of why she worked. For others. For them.

Madhukar bowed her head slightly, eyes closing momentarily. Humility. A gesture of "being knighted". Madhukar could now be known as Voidclaw, bringer of storms, friend of buzzies and snails. Dangerous, but skilled. Respectable. It was a breath of fresh air, a step into a new identity.

"As yo' wish."

Cetus? Madhukar's grimace was thinly veiled. It wouldn't be important until they got there, but she could feel her annoyance coming on. 'Stuff it down. This is what they want.' Would Sniffles be there...?

She listened to the rest of the titles, looked at the gembounds being named. Her... team mates? Friend-kins? They were meant to be family now, weren't they? Was Madhukar expected to learn about them? Did she... want that? The introvert in her backed away, but the atoner in her pushed the introvert forward. 'You need this. It will help you. If they trust Sunny, they have to be able to trust you.' The more incentive the better, right? Let, um... care be her cage. No-- not her cage. Her lightning rod. Her directive. She would give them the privilege of positive assumption first. That was a rare give to get from Madhukar. Perhaps they would learn to treasure it.

Then something seemed to torment Voidmother. Chaos. Kooru? Madhukar looked on with concern, but she wasn't sure what to do. She wasn't very good at stopping problems that weren't physical. She looked to Tema, then to who she assumed was Binh, a silent plea in her eyes for them to... y'know. Help?

'Voidseer.' What a title. Binh... never really had such a duty before. A calling. He was a hermit, a lone recluse with a small range of motion and a smaller list of friends. He spent his days curled around trees doing absolutely nothing. But the Chaos gave him more. Sunny gave him more. The reanimated cobra was eternally in debt to them.

Newly-knighted, the Voidseer dipped his head respectfully towards the snail. He took on the title far more earnestly than his peers, viewing it as a release from his old, mundane life. An entrance to his new duty, his life-purpose. Voidmother kept on talking-- to Cetus, she declared. He did not know what this "Cetus" was exactly, having rarely stepped past the bounds of his jungle home. Still, he'd heard word about it from passerby-- a deep and dark swamp with trees that touched the sky. The thought of large bodies of water still struck poorly in his mind, but the Chaos granted him control over it's flow. He'd be fine.

"Thank you for your words, Voidmother." And, just at the right time, Sunny entered a spasm. Voidseer's blank face did not reveal any inner worry, though he did slither back to give her some room. Such powerful gifts did come with drawbacks, as you know.

Deli
Deli listened carefully to this and a grin began to spread across its face. Ah, this was perfect! A new group, one loyally oh so very loyally devoted to their leader. They'd surely go after whoever had stolen her from them. And it wouldn't be hard to transport a tiny snail. They'd just have to get them away from the kooru.

Planning out their strategy, Deli quietly slipped away before their magic ran out, intending on finding them again once they had themselves fit and ready.
