Luckily, he didn't take offense to it. "I am unsteady, at least for now." He huffed a laugh. "I've never been very good at ice, at any rate. At least I can make myself pretty small in the event we do need to fly." He swallowed hard.

Pisces. Tenzin lived there, did he not? Astraea had told him that, about someone called Tenzin who was very old and very knowledgeable. Tahi had never actually gotten around to asking him any questions. But if Astraea thought this Tenzin would entertain his whims, then James would probably not earn his eyre. "Pisces sounds good."

James nodded and sighed softly, "At least the only master in Pisces is Tenzin. He's kind as far as I can tell."

He nodded gently and trotted off at Tahi's side, unable to stop smiling despite the situation. He was going on another trip with his deersband, of course he'd feel good.

Even with death looming over his shoulder.
