Somehow, things felt different, today. He wasn't sure how or why, but it was. It just was, and he'd spent his entire time awake brewing over it. As it was, he was stretched out near the West Wall, head resting on large paws. In the dirt, there was a pattern of big feet with a slither's trail between them, leading right up to his tail, which currently was doing a very occasional flick. His belly was sore, was was his tired, useless wings which often tried to assist in his movement without much luck. He was sure, though, that he'd eventually figure it out. After all, serpents could do it with no limbs at all.

With a big sigh, dust blew outward into a little cloud that quickly faded. All four eyes blinked, then searched the wall, studying it's markings. They were odd. Nothing he could really sort out, mentally. Eventually, Scarborough rose up from his spot and scooted closer to an odd carving, reaching out with a paw and running it over the unusual texture. His long claws tapped against the rock, then traced the shapes before falling back to the ground. He found himself desiring answers. What were they? Where did they come from? Who made them? Another sigh. He was sure he'd never get to know, but what would it hurt to stay here and ponder them?

The Bone King had actually known of the presence of Scarborough. He often observed the amalgamation from afar. Azazel had noticed that he was growing, and thus, he was slowing down. He'd seen less and less of the hybrid. Today was one of the rare occasions that he did see him. Of course, the avian was casually picking through bones and swallowing the medium-sized ones whole, about the size of a human fist. He pulled out a particularly fresh one and jammed it into his beak, tipping his head backwards and taking thick gulps to get it down. Carmine eyes flickered over to spot a familiarly large white bulk with large red wings on the rump. Scarborough was examining the walls and the carvings upon it fiercely, and he couldn't blame him. He too had tried to decipher it. He hindsighted that damn wall so many times, but it always threw him the same vague images.

It infuriated him then, but he got over it. Perhaps answers would reveal themselves in time. But for now, he flitted over to the hybrid, audibly clicking his talons on the floor to announce his presence. "Hello there, Scarborough." He lowered his head and waddled closer, tilting his head. "How are you?"

@Scarborough

Scarborough was feeling everything swirl in his mind, so he started to move to lay down when a noise grabbed up his attention. He looked for it's source, finding a bird with his own long nails and sharp beak. He tilted his head at the new being, listening carefully as the vulture spoke. Somehow, he knew Scarborough's name, which made some of the hairs on his hackles rise up. He'd never seen Azazel before, so the creature knowing his name made him utterly suspicious.

Hello... who are you?" he inquired slowly, squinting all four eyes as they locked onto the predatory bird. His tail flicked slowly, wings tucking in closer to his bulky hindquarters. His crest lifted, standing much like his hackles did. "I'm okay, I guess. I'm just... a little bored." He lowered his chest to the ground, legs growing tired from all the weight being leaned into them. Still, his head was held high and fingers flexing, being sure to keep his long nails at the ready.
