vega, being a very social animal, is probably going to be a little at a disadvantage without a pack! he'll have a hard time hunting by himself, and will probably end up scavenging and eating small prey most often.

but, as a young puppy, i think it'd be really helpful (and fun) for him to hang around some other gembounds who can show him around some hunting (and perhaps Being A Canine, And Having Friends!) basics. perhaps even fighting and using spells! definitely that too, actually, i'd love to play. wolves are, after all, not meant for growing up alone, and it's tough for a bigger carnivore like vega to find food all alone as a puppy! he's not made for catching up with the speedy prey that can fit his paws at this age, nor is he as stealthy as a cat. while he will learn that scavenging early on, he'll need to learn to hunt effectively too, sometime.

along that line i'd love for Puppy Dude to hang out with some other young gembounds!! he's a very playful little thing. i love me some puppy rp. i'd be happy to play out some little spars too, and have vega learn more magic; goodness knows he could use some confidence in it early on.

tl;dr adoption is cute and fun but not the only thing on my mind! basically, i'd love to have Little Vega interact with some figures who can help shape his perception, maybe teach him some things (practical and general), and make some friends with other young gembounds! i'm not looking to break him, but i would like to really build on this observant-but-naive pup with the world around him, good and bad (as applicable). he could kind of use some guidance right now, though :O

feel free to hop into a thread of mine, though. i've never gravitated much towards plotting and simply watching how things turn out (disregarding things like life-threatening battles, of course) is always welcome!

I can always throw Nassir at him o: He's not exactly the most playful, nor is he particularly good at hunting, but he could tell Vega about how the caves should be fighting free, and to help him avoid fights c:

Rimese could teach him how to hunt, and perhaps also be his friend. and flirt with him

I can totally throw Kin-Kin, @Eira and @Destiny at him!

Eira will try to be a big help but most likely be a bit scary because she has zero social skills

Kin-Kin would probably tease him in a helpful way

And Destiny would probably coo and obsess over him like the momma duck she is lmao

Also @Emendri and Vega might make pretty cute playmates!

I have @ghost ! He was once a blind wolf and now a not blind lycan!! Hes moving towards the evil side, but seeing a little wolf pup will probs make his heart melt~

I have Arkrael she'd be decent about teaching him some things.

and then some interaction for random thhings could be Cure, Zelene, Anahgo

Both anahgo and Zelene are both freshly hatched themselves.

augh, i'm so sorry everyone, my internet went out shortly after posting this and after returning from a trip it looks like we have a wiring issue; i'm on my phone right now but hopefully the issue will be resolved by saturday night (after a tech comes out) and i can properly get back to you all and pop out that hatching thread ❤️ my apologies for my silence!! i'll @ my ideas soon!!
