Prey List
All of the naturally occurring animals (ie. non-cognizant Gembounds) in Origin Cave are known to have dense bones and large lungs fitted with a filtration system that allow them to adapt to the conditions of the cave. These small creatures have roamed the caves long before Gembounds ever did; however, they lack the cognizance of larger Gembounds, allowing them to fill the niche of prey animals. Almost all of them have small stones of their own. These creatures are also referred to as "Lesser Gembounds".

Cave Rats
Large, filthy creatures with crooked teeth and strong whiskers. They grow up to two feet long, not including their long, whip-like tails.

Rats, Mice, Rabbits
These creatures appear much like their Earth counterparts and are approximately the same size, shapes and colours.

Cave Lizards
Growing up to a foot and a half in length, not including their three-foot tails. Range in colours from grey and black to brown and blue, sometimes pale yellow. Can move quickly when startled, mouths are fitted with rows of small, sandpapery teeth. Often seen sunning themselves under lights in rooms with lots of foliage. Rarely found around water or ice.

Cave Bats
Approximately the same size as Cave Rats, only with wings. Gross.

Cave Deer(?)
The size of a fawn, probably not a deer, but looks kind of like something a larger predator would hunt down and eat.

Cave Fish
Disgusting, slimy, probably blind. Once you get past the gross mucusy taste of their slime, they're pretty good. Throw 'em on the barby for an extra flair.

Since we're in RP in a cave, why not cave spiders? Big, small, ugly, fierce, venomous or not, I am not sure it matters so much--just that there should be giant spiders somewhere in every fictional cave. Ever.

At Mad Mads's request: we also in the c-box talked about the deer which Mad is totally gonna make the deer blind & thick-skinned hairless and blubbery, maybe with big whiskers or not, with phosphorescent markings.

Giant Rats! Just like regular rats three times the size of the normal ones and more dangerous to try and catch.

Fishes! Are there fishes in the water? I think some should be like little angler fish in the scary dark parts of the caves. Maybe they should all have that cloudy dead look to them just because they don't have eyes. Maybe little feelers coming from their face like catfish, but soft and not ow.

Also cave worms for the birbs. Worms with spooky white eyes and lil teeth.

Something like a cow, maybe? Big and dumb looking, but scary, maybe like a shorter really thin looking cow thing with no real eyes and footers instead of hoofs. Prolly looks nearly dead, had decent amounts of meat though. Maybe they scream as a defense.. Maybe their eyes are their stones but sharp, protruding from their heads and where their eyes should be, their only real defense. Drone on in small herds.

The rabbits should have solid red eyes and lil fangs.

also also also we need BEETLES. POISONOUS BEETLES. its what bevy mainly eats among lots of other bugs including MILLIPEDES/CENTIPEDES WITH LOTS OF LOVELY LEGS (and also probably kinda posionous, bonus points for LARGE centipedes: http://slappedham.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Giant-hell-spawn-1024x768.jpg )
