North-East Quadrant — Cepheus

Cepheus is known as the Room of Kings, fit with a palace and expansive garden. The palace grounds are guarded by Isra, a lion-like valkhound with snake tails. The majority of the palace is built with foreign alabaster stone and has varying ornate features, including tiled floors, plush pillows, and a courtyard at the center with potted trees, walkways, and narrow pools of water. Beyond the palace is the gardens. Elsewhere, the room is mostly empty with grassy fields, short trees, and worn trails. Near the Tunnel F entrance is a raised hill, with an ever-blooming tree creating a perpetual blanket of petals at the top. This room is strangely dim, with black crystals lining its ceiling that cast the room in Voidlight. It is weakest near the cave lights and lights of the palace, and strongest in the shadows.
LOCATIONS

The Palace
Perhaps the most architecturally advanced building in the entire cave system, the Palace is mostly open for visitors but some rooms remained magically locked.
The Crystal Gardens
The gardens of the Palace boast water features, crystal sculptures, and varying plants. It has many places to sit and enjoy a snack, relax, or simply admire the view.
Grassy Knoll
A raised, grassy hill with a single blossoming tree at the top; the tree is always full with sweet white flowers.
The Gentle River
This narrow river curves through Cepheus; it is shallow and easy to pass through.

A barrier seal dissipates on one of the wing entrances. Down this hallway is only one door but it leads into a very large theater room with tiered levels for seating. A large screen sits at the base and plush curtains line the walls. It has minimal lightning that can dim and brighten as needed. The lights line the stairs to each level of seating, and the seats themselves; there are larger lights among the plush curtains, and star-like ones on the ceiling. These all turn off during a showing except for those lining the stairs, which dim to a very low level. The seats themselves come in varying sizes: some are broad, some are simply beanbags or pillows; there are areas for larger creatures, too.

Next to the doorway is a concession stand. It is staffed by a fox-like imp and several ivory mice. Available snacks are candies, popcorn, hot dogs, nachos, and soft pretzels. Drinks come in all shaped cups or gourds for all sorts of paws and hands. Available drinks are varying carbonated, sugary pops and frozen slushy-like drinks. Water is also an option. There is a limited assortment of warm drinks that include coffee, hot chocolate, and teas.

NEST PATROL shows during the morning and afternoon light cycles. This is an animated cartoon starring hero Rodd Danger. Rodd is an older looking dark elf, with wrinkles that suggest he is very wise. Most notable is his black cowboy hat and light blue eyes. Rodd's outfit is otherwise quite simple: a black button-up shirt and black trousers. He is barefoot. Rodd has a southern accent.

The intro to NEST PATROL is as follows:
Rodd busts through a wall of quartz and there is applause. It starts to flip through short video clips of Rodd defeating villains with flashy visuals and comical sound effects.

The theme song is:
DANGER!!! (thunder sound effects)
IT'S RODD DANGER HERE TO SAVE THE DAY
WITH FISTS AND TEETH, THERE IS NO OTHER WAY
RODD! RODD! RODD DANGER!! (thunder sound effects)
DISPOSING OF REBELS AND KEEPING IT CLEAN
KEEPING US SAFE FROM THOSE THAT ARE MEAN
RODD IS THE MASTERS' GREATEST HERO
MAKING SURE FAILURES REMAIN AT
ZEERRROOOOO!!
RODD! RODD!! RODD DANGERRRRR!!! (lightning storm)

Episodes always open with Rodd introducing himself:
"HEY FELLOW HOUNDS! It'd R-O-Double D DANGER here today again to hunt down nasty villains! Who's on the list today?" Rodd checks a list of names. "Oh, we got a good one today folks!" He introduces the crime, for example: "Someone has painted graffiti on Orion's Tower!" The camera zooms in on the crime, and pans out to Rodd holding his hat to his chest with his head sadly bowed. He shakes it, and wipes a tear. "How could they!? DON'T WORRY!" Rodd flips his hat onto his head. "WE'LL GET THEM!" The episode begins.

All episodes contain a lesson or moral that is focused around nest productivity and obeying the masters. They end with an end credits song that is an electric guitar solo played by Rodd himself. There is a small video next to the text that shows Rodd disposing of decomposing bodies in Canis and he is met with the fanfare of his fellow hounds, who are very thankful of his hard work. The text doesn't matter because nobody can read.

NEST NANNIES shows during the evening/dimming hours of the light cycle. This is a drama-like docu-series that follows the masters through their creation process, including tours through their personal living quarters. It is narrated and hosted by Nemean. The opening is corny videos of each pair looking toward the camera with their names displayed at the bottom. It has original music written by Nemean. The music does not fit the theme of the show and sounds more like someone dropped twenty pots and pans at once. Nemean received an award from Nemean for the beautiful work she did on the soundtrack.

The episodes cycle through several of each of the pairs:

Astraea / Tenzin: These episodes feature an albino dark elf, with long flowing hair and a perfect figure. In the center of his head is a ruby. His eyes are red. This is Astraea. His partner is an ice-phoenix named Tenzin. Sometimes appearing in their episodes is their daughter, Dawa, who is a white lamb, and her boyfriend, Raheerah, who is a large, fiery black dragon. There is often drama between the fathers and Raheerah.

Dawa / Raheerah: Despite Raheerah's fiery personality, these episodes are often very wholesome, with Raheerah supporting Dawa in her design decisions, and then adding a bit of his own flair, which often includes making the creation ten times more violent in appearance.

Nemean / Aquarian: These episodes contain a lot of drama between this pair, but ultimately they create very productive and cool designs. As episodes go on, they bicker more and more. Their creations suffer from their incompatible nature. Astraea shows up often in their episodes to scold them on their work ethic. Nemean can be heard narrating over his voice in a mocking tone when this happens.

Jupiter / Totum: In these episodes, characters will recognize Jupiter by her gemstone but not her appearance. She is furred with a long tail, but otherwise the same. Jupiter and Totum are an extremely hard-working pair and often create some of the better designs on the show. However, in later episodes, it becomes clear that something is up with Jupiter. She starts to argue certain design elements. In one episode, it is shown via a hidden camera that she altered the design of Batcat, and he was born without Chaos. Strange!

Enki / Tamulus: These episodes also contain a good dose of great designs. Enki is a bipedal creature with multiple wings and a lanky body. It is a deep blue-black color. Tamulus is a human-looking creature with long platinum-blonde hair and large white wings. They are a good pair. Sometimes Tamulus is tasked to make creations by himself, and for some reason, he can impart any element he wants on a creation. Somehow, he seems different than the other masters. As episodes go on, he becomes less willing to be seen in them. In the last episode of this pair, Enki has mysteriously disappeared and cannot be found.

Artio / Farina: Perhaps the most wholesome of all the episodes. Artio is beautiful spriggan lady whose hands are often clasped together in front of her. She has long-sleeved flowing robes made of varying plants, vines, and flowers that seem to change every episode as different plants grow. There is an uncountable number of root-like legs that carry her around smoothly, almost in a glide. Farina is a giant crab. They pour a ton of thought and love into each design they create, and make very efficient designs. Sometimes they are tasked with creating very specific designs; they always end up making the most brutal, but amazing, creations.
