Tunnel S connects Cepheus and Cassiopeia. This tunnel is tiered with natural mineral hot springs and adorned with white marble and gold trim; although it must have been a beautifully polished tunnel, it now is overgrown with plant life. There is a railway that snakes through the tunnel, around its springs and full gardens. Though it is in disrepair, it is possible the tracks could be cleared and made working again. There is a slight tinge of electricity in the metal, suggesting this railway uses the cave's electrical system. This tunnel is very humid and warm. |
LOCATIONS
Cepheus Entrance
A beautiful lobby preserved in time and vegetation: comfortable chairs and a trolley station, white marble and gold trim, opening up to the springs beyond. |
Cassiopeia Entrance
Full of debris and broken pillars from a past cave-in and the recent excavation, it is clear this was once also a trolley station but is now derelict. |
The Baths
Abandoned and overgrown, this empty but once-extravagant bathhouse is scarred with the markings of battle and death. The lights do not seem to work well anymore. |
