When he heard no audible response from his wife, the bear tilted his head, twisting his ear back to glance at her. She had merely nodded, and he could see her eyelids slowly start to droop with exhaustion. Leon cracked another grin and found himself chuckling - she looked adorable when she was about to fall asleep. But he was probably just as tired, the night's festivities having drained him wholly. She then went on, her voice lighting up the air in their den again. He smiled, listening to the sweet, albeit drunken lilt of the lioness beside him as she declared her joy about their future babies. "They'll be the most beautifulest," Leon nodded decisively. Mostly thanks to Makyna; Leon was hardly beautiful. Before long, the lioness had passed out next to him and Leon rumbled a deep happiness. "Love too too, Ky." He was tired too, and though he rested his head on the ground, his attention couldn't leave the shards.

It would be another half hour or so before he finally nodded off.
