Tyrus gave a shrill squeak and slapped his tail into the water, showing the little one still had plenty of energy. Swimming over the croc began to climb Kyorai, making his way up until he was sat upon the head of the canine, perhaps it was to get a better vantage point as he once more looker around the area and into the water. The little one stood on his back feet and pounced on his first as if to draw attention to himself.

Peering at the water the crocodile began to squeak once more, much louder then before as if yelling. Again and again his noises cried out, as he stomped a foot impatiently on the head of his newfound perch. His squeaks turned into small barks, and then back into squeaks. In time the noises would die down and the little on crawled down from Kyorai and back into the water.

Tyrus swam around the area looking left and right before he disappeared beneath the surface of the water. Swimming around beneath the surface for a moment, little bubbles and ripples showing he was rapidly swimming in all directions. As the moment passed and his hopes faded, Tyrus swam back to the canine and stared at him for a long while before turning to the water, and giving one final prolonged trill, his tail slapping against the water rapidly as he did so.

Tyrus lowered his head and sank into the water, his head floating on the surface looking blankly forward, it would seem that something troubled him greatly, and he had now given up on whatever it was he was doing. The croc turned around and climbed out of the water, going to the place he had first opened his eyes. Finding the crystal shards that he had recently came from, Tyrus searched the nearby mud, digging small holes seemingly at random around the area. He would pause now and then to look around and eventually like his calls, he stopped digging. He crawled to the shards that matched that of his eye, and slowly one by one picked them up into his jaws and swallowed them. When he was finished and could not find any more shards of his crystal egg he returned to the other creature, climbed up onto his head and lay down, a soft squeak showing his tiredness.

wake up from your reverie
a light year from reality

The pup snickered when shown they had some energy left within them; though expression put forth an exposition of his disbelief as a smirk appeared on his face. Eyes closed to enjoy the somewhat soothing hold water provided, pulled out from cloudy state when feeling little steps climb upon him again. Mind knew it was the gator, but could not preserve the chilling feel it gave each time. He trembled lightly, ears pulling back as company jumped on his head. A snort was his initial response followed by the shaking of skull. They began to cry aloud once more, remaining immobile while allowing them to do their thing. Something was bothering the younger gemling but as much as he tried, thoughts could not gather up what they were saying. With that, he just issued cries as regular cries, not anything worth noting. However, it was a bit frustrating to not understand company, more so when they were obviously distressed. Watching the gator climb down from him, he rubbed eye with wet paw and got closer to the edge—laying down with hind legs only submerged by the water.

Head over shoulder, he peered at Tyrus swimming about and going under for a moment, humming at what could be their objective here. They then returned to the surface, shielding face away from the oncoming water being splashed. It seemed the creature was finished with whatever they were trying to achieve, keeping a watchful eye for anything to come next. Though it appeared that little creature was truly done with everything, gaze following as they exited the pond. Where were they off to now? Crawling fully out of the water, he stayed where he was with legs splayed out, viewing what company was up to. At first, he was not sure but after squinting and paying close attention, he realized they were eating their stone chrysalis. That... could not be good on the stomach. Wincing at the idea, he would straighten out posture while figuring out next adventure.

Intrigued at the flexing of his toes, attention drew back on the gator in which came back to him, climbing upon his form and resting on head once again. However, this time it was not for boosting cries or scanning the area in general, but apparently getting some now needed shut eye. He lightly laughed, shuffling carefully to find a comfortable position in knowing he would be here for a while. Since he was completely awaken from his sleep now, he would play in the mud to pass the time.

Tyrus curled up atop his company turned bed for now, his singular eye looking about for the final time before his nose would nudge into the fur atop Kyorai's head. Getting comfy the croc trilled softly as he began to drift off to sleep, he had had enough of his first day here, but this one's adventures were far from over as the last sight his eyes set upon was a tunnel in the distance.
