Joy couldn't recall ever even talking about all of this with anyone. It was almost...refreshing. Or, it would be, if it didn't make his heart feeling as if it was dying. Not fair. Of course it's not fair! But there wasn't exactly anything he could do about that. He kept his eyes closed as she spoke - he still couldn't stand to look at her. Not yet.

But as she spoke of looking for his mother, they opened and he looked at the lizard. Could he really...? He had no idea where she was though. Would she still be in Polaris? It was worth a try, right? Then he would know.

Though, he wasn't sure he could stand it if it turned out his mother was dead.

"Yeah...okay. I'll go looking for her. She's probably still in Polaris..."
