Eye of the Overseer had a particular ring to it, Garnet Five-Seven-Nine considered among the thrum of pride and the knowledge that it pleased him somewhat. It had a sound that Eyes did not, or Hands. Hands of the Overseer sounded strange, and for some peculiar reason, the champion was committed to keeping a theme of singular nouns.

Anyways.

The hybrid bowed, and once it had been adequately dismissed (by Vargas's moving away) it clambered up the former perch, rising to its monster-sized peak and spreading biplane-esque wings suited to slow, precise flight. With a few somewhat-practiced, deep wingbeats, Garnet Five-Seven-Nine took flight, towards its first taste of 'freedom.'
