Garnet-Delta's whiskers twitched, eyeing the dog as her agape mouth suddenly snapped shut at the reveal. Amused, the Overseer's tail curled nearly over its paws, watching as the dog turned tail and ran as though Garnet-Delta had actually done something to intimidate her.

Well, things rarely went that smoothly when it came to interacting with others. This dog, hm, she was quite clever, wasn't she? Not many gembound had so much as a speck of self preservation. It would not forget this small interaction, letting her leave without so much as a scratch.

It was enough to sit there, absorbing the heady arrogance that came from striking that fear into another's heart with mere words.

"Goodbye, dog," it meowed after her, humor lilting its farewell.

The Overseer thought that its Master might be proud to see it, then and there, even if it hadn't intended to scare away the dog.

Regardless, if it needed to, it was confident in its abilities to find the painted dog again. For as massive as the caves were, one couldn't hide forever-- though, Garnet-Delta couldn't think of a reason it would want to track down the canine off the top of its head. A potential resource, but not quite noteworthy enough to really try to keep on the radar.
