Hopper? She wonders what that is for only a moment, and realizes that he means a rabbit. Just like the one they missed earlier! Hopefully this time they'll have better luck. "Sure!" Comet turns, and picks out the moving lump of white among the rest of the snow.

She didn't have to worry about camouflage since her fur was the same white has the snow too. The only thing was her blue gemstone and her black nose. This was a lesser that would require sneaking up on, because from her experience, rabbits were too fast and agile to out run. Digging her nose into the snow, she covered it in white, but no matter what she did, she was unable to cover her gemstone. But that was a risk she would have to take.

Sneaking forwards, Comet stayed low on her belly, hopefully the rabbit wouldn't notice her until it was too late. Closer... closer... and the rabbit noticed her. Right when it started to jump away though, she slammed down a paw, and gave it a bite to the neck. Dead. "Caught it!"

"Whooooop!" Nemo lets out a celebratory cheer, and does a flip before dropping down into the snow with a whump, a small fountain of snow throwing up into the air as he shuffles through and towards Comet.

If he looks a little green around the eyes, ignore it, he's still getting used to flying like that-

"That was awesome! Why'd you stick you nose in the sn- Ooooh! You hid yourself! That was super smart!"

Oh he's excited, and bouncing up in down in an almost cockatiel-like expression of joy and beak open in his usual grin, chin tucked down and colored feathers ruffled up.

"I should try that, hiding in mist or something!"

"Thanks!" Comet licked the remaining snow off her nose, and warmed it up again. She was about to ask him why he was starting to look a bit green around the eyes, but didn't, assuming that it was just some dye that she hadn't noticed from before.

She hadn't expected that small tactic to get Nemo so excited, his joy prevalent in his grin and feathers. "You totally could! And the dye helps a lot." The dye was good for sneaking up on lessers, since he attacks from the top, the blue blends in perfectly with the air around him.

Turning her attention back to the rabbit that she had caught, she pries another gem off of it. "Wow, another one." She adds it to the previous one from the mouse, and places it on the ground. "Looks like a snowy rabbit. White too." Comet remembers that rabbits had good pelts, and flips the rabbit on its belly, using her claws to cut slits along the limbs. Once that is done, she rips the entire pelt cleanly off the rabbit, with everything in one piece.

Part of Nemo would be proud that he'd already given himself some sort of camouflage, and another would be disappointed that he's blending in... alas, the complications of being a practical drama queen.

He watches her collect the next gem, twisting his head this way and that as she does so, and almost jumps in surprise as he releases the excited tension he'd gained while she skinned the rabbit. "Nice! I have such a hard time skinning... er, scaling? Fish. Does that only work on creatures with pelts then?"

The lammergeier is very tempted to lean in and see if he can sneak a bone away- some part of him wants to mess with Comet, playfully, but she seemed busy... so the blue bird of prey flattens himself to the snow, looking at the white wolf with one eye and letting the cold breeze tug on his magic, waiting to see if it would work before anything- and he feels the magic catch.

So with a leap backwards, he flaps his wings and uses the wind woven around them to throw up a small wave of snow, mostly flurries whipped off the top layer, but enough to be a bit chilly where it sweeps over Comet and leaves her fur sparkling like it's made of so many stars. He's giggling like a dumbass, looking far too pleased with himself, and he has his wings open and awaits her reaction.

Comet wrinkled her nose in thought. She had never heard of scaling fish before, she had only been taught to skin rabbits and things. Animals that lived on the land and had normal pelts and fur. Fish didn't have any of that, only scales. "I've never tried it, perhaps we could once we find some? I imagine the pelts would be hard to sleep on though, scales are not very comfortable." she wondered why he was even trying skin, or scale, fish in the first place. "What do you plan to use the scales for?" Maybe decoration, it would look nice.

The pup was still pondering Nemo's question about skinning fish when snow was blown onto her fur. A slight chill was felt, but nothing too cold. Shaking her fur of the snow, Comet allowed her tongue to loll out of her mouth. "I'll get you for that!" she exclaims playfully, and spins in a circle, using her tail to sweep up the snow at the bird.
