CAVE STATUS
QUESTS/EVENTS
Autumn arrives, subdued by the caves' depths. Skittering leaves, thick fog or drifting mist, and cooler temperatures provide a crisp fall atmosphere. The spectres of Andromeda drift in and out of visibility, and pumpkins begin to spread beneath foliage shifting into hues of amber and flame. Strange whispering can be heard at the edges of empty tunnels, and the Carnival seems more boisterous than usual...
The wolf perked up happily as Cygnus repeated his name slowly. This caused his fluffy tail to thump against the ground softly as he wagged it. He had made a friend! Not a very verbally accustomed friend, but a friend nonetheless. He had made his second friend, though Comet was more like a mentor than anything else. So she was a step above a friend, she was someone he looked up to. After all who wouldn’t look up to a full grown version of yourself coming in like a light in the darkness. She was graceful and knowledgeable and strong and brave and he adored her so much, he thought she was an absolutely splendid wolf.
Sigurd perked up happily as he saw Cygnus shift to allow him in, and give him a soft nod of confirmation. He had a cuddle buddy now too! How wonderful this day was becoming! He wondered if this was possibly his best day yet. The young wolf smiled brightly as he turned so he was the same direction as Cygnus and arranged himself carefully in the area between the moose calf’s legs. The young wolf pressed his side gently into the calf’s belly and lay so his paws were near Cygnus’ legs and lay his head over both of them.
As Cygnus admitted he was tired Sigurd nodded lightly. A second wide yawn parted his jaws as he gently nuzzled Cygnus’ shoulder before laying his head down again. The young wolf closed his eyes smiling with immense joy as he relaxed into the welcome warmth of Cygnus’ body heat. The young wolf slowly drifted off to sleep, his far too large ears flopping in on the middle of his head and falling back slightly as he fell asleep.
