Oh, the theatrics. Aure laughed airily at that, and descended into a few shrieky, unpracticed cackles of his own - not magically fueled, and certainly not so spooky, but just playing along. For good show, his magical lanterns danced around chaotically, spinning and throwing light here and there. "I'm no good with dramatics -" and teasingly he added, "should we do that for every one?"

Another chuckle escaped him and he urged his magic to still again as the mood passed. Either simply hovered in place, just enough out of sight to not distract the soothsayer from her work.

His heart caught in his throat for a moment - even with her mild, almost pleased tone. But, overall, good omens - things that could be prevented, helped. It seemed almost natural that there might be some shortcoming or obstacle to pass. Even... even if it was perhaps the same that plagued Aza'zel and many of the others after him. Aure nodded - choking down his heart - and nodded again. It was good.

"For this child, the bones have spoken."

"That's a good trial run," he chirped softly as she came down, yet another breathy laugh escaping him, "and that's good to hear. I'm glad." Aure, at last, blinked away his golden orb (it'd fallen too far out of sight to sustain, anyways) but the wisp remained, ebbing closer without a care of if he remembered to keep it in sight.

His gaze twisted away from Giggle for a moment, a late but genuine "thank you" offered to the bones.

The hyena shook herself, trotting to Aure to offer him a nuzzle.

His own theatrics had been grand, of course--she'd laughed at those, obviously--and now she gave him a warm look.

"Let me know when it's about time for it to hatch. In the meantime, get some rest. I know I need some," she added.

And... another time, maybe I'll find a moment to ask him about-... the other thing, she told herself, her mind wandering only briefly. But the idea of a new child--a new kid from Aza'zel, a new Bonebound--had stolen her imagination, for now, and she knew that her dreams would be, now, about this--and no longer about the Hive.

He pressed his beak against her chin and pushed it up to her cheek.

"Of course," Aure chirped - not thinking to ask how long, exactly, it'd take for a chrysalis to be ready, but more about how he wouldn't leave Giggle out of it again.

The young King moved off, calling after her over his shoulder, "good night, Mom."

All the troubles that'd plagued him and started this conversation were, for the moment, forgotten as he went to find a comfortable place to at least lounge about. Old Aza'zel sounded nice.
