Mushrooms sprung up around her paws this time. Hurray! Had she helped with that? She supposed there was no real way of knowing; too many variables and all that. Tahi declared that they might've been doing this for too long. Madhukar wasn't gonna argue with that; now that all the adrenaline of getting it
right for once was simmering down a little, she was beginning to notice how tired she felt. Even one-on-one interactions could get draining for her after a while.
'Hanging out'. Was that what this was? Were they... friends now? Or something? Madhukar didn't really know or understand. She definitely didn't hate or feel negatively towards Tahi. Heck, she even wanted to help the deer out. That was alright, she supposed. Tahi was goopy, but a good goopy. Didn't make her feel nearly as weird as the wiggler or Sniffles did. Didn't make her feel... conflicted. Those other two, they'd hurt her when she was too weak to fight back, and she still hadn't gotten any form of revenge. And the strange thing was that she didn't even
want to exact revenge on, well, either one really. She didn't quite like that.
But Tahi had just been nice.
There was no grudge to hold. No usurping of control from her. If anything, Tahi had helped her get
more control. More power. She liked that.
She nodded in understanding towards Tahi's suggestion that they'd been at this for a while.
"Yo too," she offered back to Tahi's 'ending', in a simple tone that was almost
awkward. She didn't really know what to say or do now. Go do something else, she supposed. Go back to what she'd been doing before.
All this time spent getting to practice magic with a creature she'd never met before, all of it having little to do with the plan she'd originally set off on. And yet none of that time felt like a waste.
"Thank." That was all she felt there was left to say, before turning towards the next destination and...
...moseying, she supposed.
- exit at last! :3 -
