The Lost Gifts - Tenzin

A holiday gift, very square and a little heavy and wrapped in beautiful bright blues, tumbled through Monoceros's stormy skies. Had anyone been watching, they might have seen a reindeer-drawn sled with a strange, rubbery-skinned blue being at the helm sweeping past. The box thumped down onto a high ledge, then rolled down through the dust until it came to a (slightly battered) halt on the rock below.

The attached paper tag said, "To: Tenzin," but anyone unable to read who might touch the package would also know who it was for. This package would need to be escorted to Pisces, to its recipient. Otherwise, Tenzin's holiday gift might never reach him!

Raoshar had been hunting in Monoceros: new, bright crimson birds had appeared through the caves, and chasing them through the typhoons of the dusty cave had been a thrilling adventure. He had managed to snatch one between his jaws and had landed on an outcropping of stone to eat, when a glimmer of uncharacteristically bright blue caught his eyes. Head craning down to get a better look, he saw a startling familiar word written on a part of the box.

It might have been coincidence that Raoshar stumbled across the strange package with his father's name scrawled on the tag. But, who else would have paid any attention to the wrapped box, tucked away in the shadow of one of the stone pillars formed by endless whirlwinds?

It didn't really matter how or why it came to be, but the dragon stared at it with a strange wonder. His feathers ruffled by the strong winds that flowed through Monoceros as he pondered-- was it a trick, or a trap, or something else entirely? After a pair of heartbeats, he relented and reached golden claws down to delicately pick up the battered present.

At any rate, it seemed Raoshar would be home for the holidays.

The sound of jingling bells had filled the cave and Wilder, knowing the time of year, followed it with excitement, eventually leading her to Monoceros where her hunt ended with a pretty blue package. There was somebody already there, but she supposed that wouldnt be a problem - a quicj flick of her magic showed nothing to beafraid of, and Naskital always left enough for everyone!

Only when she approached did she realize that it wasbt gifts for them, but for others! She sniffed it, an image of the phoenix unfurling in her mind, and she purred, looking up at the other. "Are you going to Pisces? I havent seen Tenzin in a long time. I hope you dont mind the company?" She trotted after him happily, the spirit of the season like a little flame in her heart.
