He was early this year. Not that anyone had a calendar. Each year, Naskital's visit took a slightly different form--but that didn't matter, either. What mattered was the spirit of the thing! To inspire giving and caring, generosity and love in those he visited.

This year he had a little something interesting cooked up. Some of the critters in the cave--the old ones, the real ancients--had been a little... down, lately. Or down on their luck, at least. So while everyone who sought out a gift would get one, some of them had a special something planned. Some of them were happy, of course--and those got their gifts straightaway. He beamed as he saw Farina and Artio huddle up over what he'd left--but he had to hurry on, because this had taken some planning and would need some perfect timing, too!

These six gifts--these special six... they were going to be "misplaced." Naskital smiled again, the rush of his reindeer-drawn sleigh a gentle hiss through the frost-touched air. Some might see him come and go, but he wouldn't be here long. No--the Gembounds would need to do the rest! And he hoped they'd have fun doing it, too.

This year, Naskital has left a few gifts in the wrong caves! These gifts are addressed to certain NPCs throughout Origin. Gembounds can help deliver these to their rightful owners! Of course, not everyone in the caves can read--so there's a special magic on them! Touching each gift will impart knowledge of the intended recipient.

Each character may choose one NPC gift to help deliver. Their choice will affect what they get, in turn! Characters must be posted in the initial gift thread, and then may make further another thread (or threads!) with their delivery attempt! Anyone may join any thread, but remember--only one NPC choice per character!

In addition, through January 2nd, special Lessers can be mysteriously found throughout the caves. These can be killed and eaten as a delicacy, Familiar Forged, or whatever else you wish! This year's Lessers are white Domestic Geese, tame Reindeer, and Northern Cardinals!
