Open Threads List and a Spellbomb!
Open Threads List
You will notice that the Open Threads thread has been removed and we have implemented an automatic
Open Threads list! The link to this page is in the same place as the original thread; you will find it under the Recent Threads box to the left. Don't forget to check it every now and then to see if there's any AW threads you'd like to join!
Spellbomb!
A whole ton of new spells have been discovered! Maybe your characters can master them, or maybe it's something for them to work towards!
Preserve - A
Plant spell that allows the user to transplant their own life essence into a plant, preserving it forever.
Dreamwalk - An
Arcane spell that allows the user to transmit themselves into the dream of another.
Alter Frequency - A
Pressure spell that can change the frequency of the user's voice, amplifying it or using it to cancel out another noise.
Electroball - An
Electricity spell that supercharges the user's bile. They can spew it at an opponent and shock them, or at the ground and shock passersby.
Ephemevenom - An
Animal spell that gives the user temporary venom and allows them ONE bite that will poison the recipient.
Multishadow - A
Light spell that divides the user's shadows, allowing them to control the shadows and move them throughout the room.
Thank you to Banshee for the Dreamwalk and Alter Frequency icons, and Toppa, Fira and Shafaer for the Preserve, Dreamwalk and Alter Frequency suggestions!

Current Quests
Don't forget about the two quests we have going on! It looks like the Gembounds in Polaris need some help defeating these spooky skeletons in
Quest: Organ Cave, and poor Giggle has disappeared in
Quest: O Eyes, What Do You See? Can you help the Gembounds find her?
New Staff Members!
The Origin staff team has decided to expand and would like to welcome Shafaer and Arkrael! For now, Shafaer and Arkrael will just be performing standard tasks such as updating the Update Me! and Magicka Market threads, accepting new members, and performing general maintenance, but you may see them on our Game Master team in the future! :) Congratulations, guys!
Reminders
As usual, we'd like to remind you guys about a few things...
Vote for Origin!
At the bottom of the index in our affiliates section we have a button for Animus Top 50. If you'd like to help out raising awareness about Origin, you can click that button and vote for us! Of course this isn't necessary, only a small favor to Origin should you choose to do it.
Thread Sweep
A thread sweep has occurred. Threads that have not been posted in since October 15th have been moved to the IC Archives. If you would like them to be restored, please post in the Update Me! thread.
Guidebook Updates
Site History and the Quest List are now up to date.
The Cave Report
Sing a Song of Regret
Following the
epic clash between predator and prey, our favorite devil of a deer stumbles back to his home in Orion, where Clover and Cayenne are quick to try and patch him up. In a rare moment of softness from Hasira, there's a lot of feels in this thread. This is a recommended read, definitely.
Disturbia
Hasira's at it again, stepping on babies... except this time, he meets Cure Karkata. When she refuses to be subservient to the cruel lord, things turn for the worst... and it looks like Hasira's got an idea of what to do with Cure.
BE PREPARED!
There's a festival on the rise, hosted by the Bonebound, but preparations are to be made first! Azazel calls together his clan and invites others to help... but who else should appear on the scene but Gertrude. Tensions are rising, and Kerberos seems to be hiding something. It's like a scene from Warriors.
Kerberos is totally Fireheart.
White Death
The Bone Princess, Mau, has fallen into the hands of death. It's unfortunate, but that's not even the beginning of the feels. Oh, no. Azazel appears upon the scene, and finds himself doing something he
regrets. Guess what? Ashtoreth appears and sees her father's work. If you open this thread, you better be ready for feels. Just be careful, because this thread's rated M for graphic depictions of gore!
Can We Build It?
Looks like there's going to be some construction going on in Polaris! A cute little ranch is in the works, but how will it stand up to the swarm of golems currently residing in the Core?
If something interesting is happening in your thread, send a PM to the Origin Cave account or alert the staff in the cbox. We'd love to cover it in the current or next issue of The Cave Report!
