The deer lets out a scream of pain as Raizel's horns make a sickening crunch against the creature's foreleg. The prey topples to the ground, but it doesn't appear to have given up yet. Instead, the deer throws its sharp fangs towards Raziel's face, perhaps in an attempt to blind the wolverine.

Raziel howled in anger and pain as the deer’s fangs sank into his face. He felt them pierce the skin around his muzzle and mouth and instinctively yanked his head back, which only made things worse. The fangs were still lodged inside his face, and now he was angry. He was hungry, and he’d nearly drowned not more than an hour ago! He was going to kill this fucking deer, or it was going to kill him! He let out a carnal yell, at the same time trying to access whatever Fire Magic he seemed to wield. If the deer wouldn’t let go of his face, then he’d burn it with his Heatwave spell! His Hot Breath!

Eko clapped her tiny, strange, spindly paws together in glee at the appearance of mushrooms, plucking one from the stone and stuff half of it in her mouth. "Schweet! Thanks, shis!" If she noticed the bits of undigested, glowing fungus - and the slobber - dribbling from her lips between words, the colugo didn't seem bothered by it. All her focus was on the fight below.

She frowned as the deer let out a wail of pain, obviously hurt by the weird angry thing's horns, and grabbed a mushroom to lob down at Raziel. Swallowing, she muttered, "That butthole hurt the deer, dude! Not cool!" A cheer later, and Eko was clapping, waving two mushroom caps like pompoms. "Ooh, the deer totally bit him back, though. Serves you right, ya butt!"

Another softly luminescent cap was tossed in Raziel's general direction, while Eko yelped as the creature seemed to breath out pure flame. "Woah, that's gotta be cheating! Can you even use magic in a fair fight?" The question was more metaphorical than anything, the colugo seated on the edge next to her sister, pouting at the clash down below.

Again, the deer lets out a bleat of warning, but as the hot air catches flame and starts to roast the prey's flesh, the call turns into a scream. The fanged beast thrashes, kicking wildly now, but it seems desperate and unfocused. It tries to get away, but with one violent shake of its body, the deer's heart seems to give out, and the creature falls still.
