The stag already had 3 hooves practically in the grave, with this many gembounds attacking there could only be one final outcome. But if he died right here and now Vicktor would never learn Clover's fate! At least not as fast as he would want! Anxiety bubbled up and washed over the anger than burned within the young jaguar. What was he to do!? Not attack and still watch him...no, the stag had to have a way out of this! He had to be planning an escape!? Of course, he would be fine with a few more attacks! Though that wasn't really clear or good thinking on Vicktor's part.

Either way he was concerned with the where abouts of Clover. Should this vile stag be dying as he spilled the desired information, well that meant little to the feline. But still he was conflicted, confusion and anxiety mixing into a superb cocktail that only backfired on the gembound. The electricity never even had a chance to dance across his pelt, all that bundled energy immediately surged through his muscles. The young cat yelping loudly at his own element, muscles spasming as he collapsed. Vision blurring as he fought through it, eyes locked on the stag below.

Everything hurt, everything ached. His head was turned, yanked and pulled until it felt like his neck was going to snap in two. His legs were frozen to the ground so even if he was physically capable of running... he couldn't. It was all over for him. He was done, his grip on the world was slipping away. In his mind's eye he could clearly see the Plague God staring at him with those dead eyes.

Was he not meant to find the warmness then? Was he just doomed to die?

The heat exploded all around him, scorching away his fur and burning away his flesh.

Yes... He was.

With one last hoarse cry Hasira's body went limp. He didn't fall to the ground because the leopard was still holding his head rigid but he was done as was evident from the lifeless way he seemed to hang in the magic grip, like a puppet with its strings cut. Breath barely stirred from his lungs.... For all the world it looked like he was dead. Finally ended by the zealous blows of the warriors.

Hasira vs Carnivores

Attacks: Icles!
Defenses: None.
Injuries: Burned and scorched over his entire body. Numbed and tingling from electricity. Large rip in his flank from fangs. Hole ripped open in his chest just to the left of his gem. Countless injuries along his entire body, burns, guts, gashes, scrapes, plus an illness setting in.

Amaria

You fell away,
What more can I say?
The feelings evolved,
I won't let it out,
I can't replace...
Your screaming face,
Feeling the sickness inside

It seemed to all go quick. Others began to attack and assault the stag. Someone seemed to have a hold on it as he struggled to move. Every last thing going on was all clear as day. The moment the stags icicles came down, Amaria's eyes shot up and watched them closely. She had to release her fangs from the stag's hide, sliding out of the way of a few ice shards that came crashing down beside her and Vazi. Ice suddenly wrapped around the stag's legs and the mutated leopard had to shift again just to make sure she did not get caught in the icy grasp. So she jumped, landing on the stags haunches and as he seemed to still be unable to move; much to her relief.

She was just about to make her next move. Just about lunged forward to dig her fangs into the stag's neck, but suddenly something caught her attention. The gel that had been lingering around suddenly ignited. A shout of surprise left the leopard as she tumbled back from the stag. Eyes clenched shut as the bright flash had caught her off guard and paws scrambled now against the ground. Her footing failed her and she tumbled backwards until she landed hard on the ground...her back left leg and part of her scaled tail landing right in a glob of pyrogel.

It was too late for her to move again. Fire erupted all around her and the stag and an agonized cry escaped the feline as the gel she had fallen into suddenly combusted. Amaria jerked forward, using all she had to jump away from the gel before she practically threw herself against the ground to try and snuff the flame that had began to curl down along her tail and around her thigh all the way down to her ankle. Much to her relief, if one could call it that, the fire had snuffed itself from her rolling on her side and finally she rested against her right side.

Ears pinned back against her head as tears gathered in her eyes. It was ignored for now. All of it. The smell of burning fur and scorched flesh. Her eyes moved to the stag who seemed to now be unmoving on the ground. It was done. They had one. A sigh of relief escaped the mutated leopard as she vaguely began to take note of how the lower half of her body began to go numb. Or, at least, her leg anyway. It seemed as though her tail had gone uninjured with only a few scales growing dull in being charred.

Amaria couldn't bring herself to look down at her leg. Her heart beat wildly and unsteadily against her chest. Even her thoughts were reduced to nothing but unintelligible noises. "It's done...he's finished..." It was time to go home. It was time to check on her babies and make sure they were both okay. A sigh escaped her as she finally, very shakily, turned her gaze from the group who had been assaulting the stag down to her leg. Her stomach lurched and it was all she could do to not vomit where she lay. The longer she looked over her burned leg the more she felt herself become lightheaded and even more nauseous. "Oh man..." She sighed heavily as she forced herself to clench her eyes shut.

It had all happened so much. So much rage had consumed him, the anger had driven him, the passion pushed him further than he had ever thought he'd go. He had never wanted to kill, he'd never thought that he could call himself a murderer - even Cancer, perhaps his fury drove him to punish, but deep down, he never wanted to take the leopard's life. (Maybe he did.) And yet... when all was said and done, the stag lay before them, battered and torn apart. He was barely still in one piece. Once Leon had blinked and gotten a hold of himself again, he stumbled back. Pain scorched his throat and he choked, coughed, grit his teeth and grimaced against the heat raking his lungs. "Shit." He rumbled, shaking his head, as if that would make it all go away.

But it wouldn't. All he could do was open his eyes again and behold what had evolved around them. Now that Hasira had been beaten into the ground, they all stood around - as though in a daze, as though disbelieving of what they had done. He stared, and then his eyes caught Amaria, and he'd just barely noticed the scorch marks. It must have been him. Had he been so involved in punishing the stag, he'd haphazardly injured her too? It... it was likely. So very unfortunately likely. "I'm sorry." He croaked, but he didn't know how much longer he could be here. Guilt was savagely tearing through him, seeing Hasira splayed before them all like a carcass torn apart by wolves. "I have to tell the rest of Maji Walezi."

At least they would find comfort in knowing the stag was dead. He grunted; shame and embarrassment pushed him away, and he turned, quick to disappear from the scene while pain coursed through him.

It was a buffet of torture for the young feline. Laying there in his own convulsions, desperately trying to stay awake to gain information from Vazi. Hope being the only thing keeping him here, until the other gembounds began to leave. Not caring to bother the fallen stag anymore. No, this couldn't be!? Was, was he dead!? No! He was suppose to get information on Clover from the monster! Straining out a yowl he attempted to rise to his feet, only to fall back upon the ground. Eyes heavy as he was surely fainting from exhaustion now.

Though the jaguar did not realize, fighting so hard to stay awake when he was in reality already passed out. Events racing in his mind that were not happening truthfully. Vazi rising up after everyone leaving and cornering the poor jaguar. Laughing and taunting the feline with cruel words of his sweet Clover's fate. That she was gone, dead. That it was all his fault she had followed him in the first place, if the cat had just fought a bit harder to have her stay behind back in Pisces oh everything would have stayed sweet and innocent.

Such events manifested had woke up in a daze of hysteria, a seamless splice from nightmares to reality he had mustered his strength to run. To not look back for he believed all that was 'shown' to be true. As so is the fitting start of a string of unfortunate events.
