QUESTS/EVENTS
Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.
It took just a few moments after hearing Tal'at agreement to the game. That they would try, lifting their wings and hovering just above the young jaguar. "You go first. Run or hide. I will tag..." A smile widely stretched across his face as he took off like a small bolt. Shuffling through the bushes, trying to hide down underneath any one of these prime hiding spots!
Pounce thought little about how Tal'at would be able to locate him in the dark underbrush. Though, the young jaguar knew little about how bats worked, let alone heighten senses.

Tal'at waited, wings tucked at his sides, in the muck of the swamp, for a good little while so Pounce could go hide. He took a deep breath and twitched his ears, spreading out his wings. It was time to see if he could find the cat, he thought, so he took to the air. Almost immediately he picked out the heartbeat of the little feline and he dove towards it.
"I found you!" He warned as he swept down, however, he couldn't see the brush the cat was hiding under. He collided first with that, making a horrible screech of alarm. It didn't really hurt, but he scrambled about in the brush, bewildered and startled. He was sure that Vicktor was there, just bellow him, but what was all this?

Waiting rather eager and practically vibrating down beneath the brush he could only think about how much fun this was! Spending rather little time toying with the conceptual idea that he might go unseen and win this game of 'tag'. In reality the game seemed to be closer to hide and seek, but the young jaguar didn't worry about that. No harm no foul! Right?
"I found you!"
Uproarious laughter escaped as he braced for Tal'at to land on him in victory. Except nothing happened; or at least had the chance. Looking up he watched Tal'at struggle against the thick fluffy branches. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea, this thought was extremely overwhelming when their bat friend let out a screech. He wasn't sure if it was from pain or alarm, but either way it seemed bad! And it seemed the more Tal'at struggled the more he got tangle in the long feathery branches.
"W-wait wait! If you keep doing that you'll get tangled!!"

sorry this post took 500 years rip me how could i neglect tal'at
The tiny bat hit the bush and scrambled around inside of it, his wings catching on some branches. The kitten let out a call but it was all he could do but to try to escape the nasty brambles before he got stuck...
Wincing, he felt some fur tug in a branch, but with a squeak he managed to scramble free. Pain and aches raced through his body as he fell to the sloppy, muddy earth with a grunt.
"I am okay... Oww oww oww... I will be... Fine I think... Oww oww oww," the bat whined, forcing himself to get up. Perhaps the games were a bit too much for him. He wasn't sure he'd be up to play hide himself now, but for now he smiled at the direction of Vicktor's heartbeat.
"You have to... admit that I.... Found you yes?" He asked with humor in his tone, grinning at the kitten. He didn't think he had permanently damaged anything. A few scratches, a bit of missing fur... But he'd be fine.
Hastily Tal'at had landed upon the muddy earth with a grunt. Repeating small owws but telling the young jaguar that he was perfectly fine. Humor rang through loud and clear in his tone though, asking that the cub was sure to admit he had been found. Well if Tal'at said he was fine and acted as such then that was good enough for him! With a wide toothy smile the cub bounced closer.
"You did find me! You win Tal'at!"
Wiggling in place the jaguar was so happy for his new friend! Though while he was excited to play another round he thought against it; at least give the bat some time to recover! Even if they didn't play another round today, they would surely meet again! Wouldn't they? Of course they would what was he even thinking! They were best buddies now!
Tal'at was glad to have given the child something fun and lovely to do. It was nice to have a new friend, especially a tiny kitten that seemed to be so kind and adorable. It was nice not to be afraid, and part of him thought he should ask the cub if he wanted to stay here, forever, and be apart of... Whatever this Cetus business was.
But, then again, he wasn't sure. It was rather complicated, the whole thing, and so instead he just gave a toothy, tiny fruit-bat grin and answered in agreement.
"It was easy! Use my magic. See your heartbeat. Bush found me; that's less fun." The tiny bat stuck out his tongue, chuckling slightly. His vibrant gem glinted in the foggy light of Cetus, mist forming on the surface of the round stone. "Should be careful... Be more careful. Hard to play... When I don't... See like you."

Vicktor even for a moment wished he could bring Tal'at along in his life, through it was clear the bat had their own home. Where, well he was sure it was somewhere in Cetus! Very much like the 'home' with his ethereal doe! They spoke again, with joy in heart sticking their tongue out at the feline. The small jaguar mimicked and also their toothy smile, keenly observing the small glimmer of their vibrant gem.
"You must be very careful! But you played so-..won...deer...full...lee"
Sentence brought to a slow crawl Vicktor's attention flashed elsewhere, inhaling deeply as he squinted through the mist. He had heard someone...hadn't he? Perhaps it was just the wind...until he heard her again. Ears flickering around he attempted to pinpoint her soft voice on the wind.
"Tal'at! I must go home now! I'm being called! It was so much fun to play with you friend!!"
The young feline hopped about, feet wiggling beneath his form as he said his goodbyes. His final action a quick but gentle snuggle with his nose at the friendly bat. Bouncing off towards the a group of neighboring bushes he vanished. Last words lingering through the air.
