Kin Kin stood at the entrance to Orion, staring out at the tunnel ahead of her. Jagged, icy, and cold, it chilled the pup right through to the bone and the water that she could see down there as the slope began to decline, was something that she'd never seen before. She wanted to get closer, and yet she was more than slightly scared to. She could hear the sound of dripping and water rushing from further in.

Even if she tried though, it was doubtful she'd ever be able to swim. The cloth at her back would easily drag her down and under.

Even now it trailed out far behind her, almost completely covering her little puppy body as she moved forward, except from her front paws. She peered over a sharp edge down at the water, and although she was afraid, she decided to head down. She took in a deep breath, let it out, and reached out for the ledge below her. Without too much of a problem, she was down a step closer to the water. She could see it glittering brighter, and a gleam of gold caught her attention.

She hopped her way down another ledge, and then she was there, down by the water's edge. She bent first to take a drink, her little tongue flickering, but as she pulled away she noticed her reflection.

Momentarily fearful she froze, only to soon relax. That was her down there! She still couldn't believe that she looked like that. The young one twisted her head slightly, gazing into the water.

She was one of the prettier things in the world; and she could make it even more so.

Thinking deeply, she held her breath and focused, still gazing into the water. It took a while, but eventually her eyes widened, as eventually the water lit up, the light from her own pelt dancing on the water's surface.

Rinaotei had found herself investigating a little more and wanted to see beyond Pisces, since as fascinating as the clear water is in that area the general size is too congested and she desired a need to see more. Thus she has randomly found herself going through this mysterious angled hole that was part of the wall & ground, and next thing she knew while going through this hole she found this new tunnel with something completely new. There's something new she sees on the ground that looks a lot different from rocks, this new substance on the ground is something that looks fluffy, white & rich generally possessing its own form of beauty similar to the water. She believes from what she has researched, that this is 'snow'.

She continues towards it in curiosity but wary, the first thing she realized when she stepped into this is how cold she started to feel. Even with her thick coat that has a black hue in it that absorbs all the warmth from light, and walking even further she noticed her paws instead of walking over are instead causing friction with the less fluffy parts of it since they are sliding around it. She recalls this one is called 'ice'.

She quickly decided to take a break and just observe this area before risking things, if she lets her guard down in a new environment she's unsure of someone may take advantage of her. Ah There's a small hole at the side of the wall on a cliff, that could be a good start. Carefully with her paws she walks... or more like slid over to this hole, and when she finally reached the foot of this wall with enough power she leaped inside this hole and promptly checked inside it to ensure no one else is in it that could take her by surprise. Nothing, good it's safe and now finally, she relaxes in it and begun to look at this new environment in awe while keeping a watchful for potential threats.

While looking around she sees to what she thinks is another wolf, though she possesses a bright golden brown colour almost like to what she believes is called 'sand', contrasting her charcoal black. Looking closer this newcomer appears to be drinking to her memory is what seems to be clean water, not as much as there is in Pisces but still there. Wait... This newcomer appeared a little startled, although she appears to have relaxed now although she keeps on staring at the water, does she see something? She can't help but wonder if there's something dangerous in the water, or if it’s just like how she's new to this snow if this pup is new to water or perhaps just new to clear water. She continues to watch, as she's unsure if it's a matter for concern on whether she should come closer or stay far away. Then out of nowhere she saw a bright light emanating from this newcomer which she couldn't help but find fascination in, still she shall still keep her distance and possibly be prepared for something...

Busily admiring herself, Kin-Kin failed to notice the approach of the stranger until they were already there. Kin-Kin turned, about to begin her ascent back up towards Orion to look for another way out when she saw them standing there, watching, their outline vaguely illuminated by the light shining out from her fur. The golden pup stood frozen for a few long seconds as though trying not to be noticed.

The soft glow that had shone out from her fur dimmed within a moment's notice, flickering before the world around went suddenly dark.

Kin-Kin shuffled her paws awkwardly, but other than that hardly dared to breathe, soft breaths steaming quietly around her muzzle. The other one, they looked like her; they had that same muzzle and pointed ears and paws. Only... they were darker. Far darker in colour, perhaps why she'd failed to notice them until she lit up.

Perhaps her magic would come in useful, after all. It wasn't as if she'd ever be able to hide, but she might be able to keep others from hiding...

The hairs along her spine rose, although it was mostly hidden by the fabric hooked onto her gem.

"Who're you?" she called out softly, as boldly as she'd go. It felt better than being afraid. Still she remained in her spot, keeping the distance between them the same. "Are you h-hiding?"

It appears the newcomer has stopped looking at the water, perhaps she was just new to water? But then she suddenly stopped like she just realized something or saw something unusual, then in her temporary state of petrification her light dulled. It appears is this newcomer looking at her, well Rina was a little wary of others and has a bad habit to observe, however some misunderstand and this has lead to her getting into trouble before. Although she was more observing the water to ensure nothing was going to leap out and attack her.

The golden one's body language becomes rather stiff and Rina's eyes open up a little more with concentration, ears leaving from their relaxed state and perking up to get a more clear hear & her muzzle slightly opening, as if she's mouthing a small 'Huh', as the newcomer calls out asking who Rina was and asking if she was hiding. How ironic... on how she does this to ensure that something like this one believes is about to happen, doesn't happen to her personally. Nevertheless she can't assume but she has most likely made this one uneasy, better take responsibility and try the bests words of choice possible.

She moved delicately to avoid slipping, but tries to make enough noise to perhaps not startle her too much. Finally she spoke with her natural serene voice in hopes her tone may calm her "Are you perhaps, referring to me? If so then please calm yourself, I am just not used to walking on ice yet. No harm." She's aware her speaking isn't the best but she tries anyway and just hopes this newcomer will be at ease and hopefully she is the only one besides her here.

"Ah, I don't think there's anyone else around, so um... yes," Kin-Kin replied, although she did give a quick and nervous glance to either side. "...Is there?" Kin-Kin listened carefully, her ears flicking slightly, as she even breathed with careful consideration.

The golden pup was on ice too, and so close to the waters edge it was a wonder that she hadn't fallen in yet. A chill rode its way down her spine again, as calm gave way to momentary fear. What would not thinking do to her? Sure, it felt better, but... was being scared the only thing keeping her alive?

The stranger approached, and Kin-Kin stayed rooted to the spot, suddenly rather scared of this ice. "Same," she muttered, looking down at her paws accusingly. She gave her head a quick jerk in an effort to banish the fear again. The little one was sick of it ruling her life by now; it was much nicer to simply... take things as they were. "I've never been in here before. Is it always full of... water?"" She looked at the area which seemed to have become a large pond. Although from what she could see, it went somewhere. To a larger animal, it wouldn't be deep. But to Kin-Kin, a pup fresh out of the chrysalis, it would be both deep and cold.

She gave her shoulders a shrug, rustling the cloak at her back slightly. It only made it itch...

"Who're you?" she repeated, slowly building up confidence with some conscious effort, tilting her head to one side.

Ah so it was her this newcomer was referring to, though she asked if there is someone else besides the two wolves. Rina knows it'll be bad to provoke her fear again by saying yes, and besides this is all just on how wary she is there is no point in saying yes to her question since her reason would just be assumption with no evidence. "No I believe we're the only ones here right now." Scanning the area and may confirm that for now, there is no one else here she keeps her stance a little in defense but not too much as her body language may come across as aggressive to her, and Rina for now needs to try her best in ensuring golden pup remains calm.

"It's my first time here too, although I know that lots of the water here came from where I live which is Pisces, which has more water so I suppose it's understandable and reasonable to believe there is lots of water here..." She answered in her usual serenity and trying to be quiet as she can, as even though she doesn't believe there is someone else here she doesn't want to garner unwanted attention by being too loud for others to hear. After her explanation her eyes followed to where the newcomer's are looking to the pond, on closer inspection Rina can't help be admire the beauty of this clear water, not as wonderful as the lagoon back in Pisces but it certainly has its own touch of beauty. Being rather dark in colour, but absolutely beautiful when this newcomer shone her light on it. It was deep but perhaps not as deep as Pisces', nonetheless she shouldn't underestimate it as she is still small.

The newcomer asks who she is. She decides it wouldn't be too careless to at least say her name, even though she has already mentioned she is from Pisces. "Ah... Name's Rinaotei." she says a little less words as she is still a little reserved and feels she has said too much about herself already.

Kin-Kin's ears twitched and swiveled and after another quick glance around, it seemed as though the stranger was right. Finally, she seemed to relax, allowing the stranger that little bit of caution, as Kin-Kin, internally, felt the same. So, she decided not to mention it. "It would seem so," she said, with a final sniff of the air, and a brisk nod. Her tail moved slightly beneath the fabric draped over her, causing it to shift a little; Kin-Kin hadn't quite realized but it had subconsciously drifted between her legs. A sign of the fear that she fought not to feel. Annoyance replaced it for a moment.

"Pisces, huh? Can't say I've ever been there before," Truth be told, she hadn't even heard of it before. At least, she didn't think she had. She paused for a few long moments to listen out again, to the quiet trickling of water that echoed throughout the tunnel. "I came from up there," Kin-Kin said, looking upwards to where the entrance to grand Orion lay. "I was born there, but I don't think I'll overstay my welcome. I think it's called... ahh... Orion? Yes, Orion! That's it."

She seemed pleased with herself. Slowly and carefully, she moved to sit back on her haunches, although it was more a cover up as she could feel her paws slipping. Perhaps their warmth was chewing at the ice a little? At least sat down there was less of a chance of her falling over. "Rina-otei... Rinaotei... That's a tad of a mouthful, huh? Mind if I call you Rina?" Kin-Kin watched closely, in case her words had any sort of an adverse effect. "I'm Kin-Kin. Easy, right?" She loved her name. It was simple to say and even simpler to remember.

She sees this level of caution is acceptable to the newcomer, and with her own quick gander and confirmation that no one else is around Rina becomes less tense.

"Yeah, Pisces is a place with lots of water with a rather beautiful lagoon in it, albeit the lagoon is very deep a lot deeper than this pond. And while the place was very beautiful, it was a bit too crowded and congested to my liking and I have took a liking to exploring and adventures so." During her explanation midway her tone slightly spoke like she was daydreaming when speaking about the beautiful lagoon in Pisces. She looked at where the newcomer came from, which was emanating beams of light like the sun does between clouds. "Orion huh...? Suppose that might be my next stop for exploring..." She said as she drifted her words as in thought.

She noticed the newcomer seems rather proud for remembering, well it helps her keep her cool and she seems more relaxed with her sitting on the ice instead of standing. "Rina is perfectly fine with me." she says in the most assuring, serene tone possible as Rina can see the newcomer is worried if she might've hit a berserk button as she doesn't have to worry Rina isn't exactly the sensitive type to her own feelings and usually keeps them under control. And now the newcomer said her name 'Kin-Kin', "Ah I see. Yes it'll be easy to remember and quite a nice touch to it. Pleasure Kin-Kin." she slowly ducks her head and closes her eyes in an attempt to bow and hopes she did it correctly.

Kin-Kin gave a small shrug. "Mhm. Orion doesn't have that many others I don't think. I was on my own a lot of the time." Kin-Kin didn't think she'd enjoy places with a lot of crowds. All the more to keep an eye on. "Still, it sounds... interesting." Kin-Kin had never seen a lagoon before. She didn't quite know what one was, either. But it sounded like something to do with water, and Kin-Kin had since decided that water wasn't really her thing. it was cool to the mouth, but not nice on the rest of the body. Better for admiring one's reflection. She stole a glance to the pool at the side, realizing that she couldn't see herself as well without her glow to light it.

Sucking in her breath she focused, keeping an eye on the water to her side to see if it worked. A few moments passed, and she began to gleam- faintly, but it worked! Satisfied, she quickly examined her reflection and puffed out her chest.

Her ear turned towards Rina, though, as the other wolf responded to her questioning. "Glad to hear it, Rina," Kin-Kin immediately replied, curling her tail over her chilled paws and turning back to her new friend. She seemed to like Kin-Kin's name, and that was a good sign. Kin-kin nodded, pleased, and tried to bow back- although as soon as she shifted her weight, her legs slid out from under her and her chest dropped to the ground with a clink. "Uhm... Pleasure to meet ya too?" she mumbled distractedly as she tried to get up, without much success.

Rina listens thoroughly to Kin-Kin's explanation of Orion, while she does she took note how this is the second time Kin-Kin has shrugged her shoulders, a habit she possesses perhaps? Nevertheless though sounds like Orion may be of interest to her, as less crowded places are her thing when she wants her own space for alone time. She feels glad that she has piqued Kin-Kin's interest to her birthplace.

She notices that Kin-Kin is shining her light magic on the water again, she ow realizes that Kin-Kin is staring in awe of her reflection and that was never anything cause for alarm.

After she finished and responded in regards to the shorter term of her name and it seems Kin-Kin is satsified in general in regards to the names and greetings.

She sees Kin-Kin slip and fall, and in response she slightly extends her paw but not too far, as she wants Kin-Kin's permission in this. As she knows some dislike being touched and having their personal space violated, or some are independent so she'll wait and see if she has her consent with assisting her.

(Sorry that this one is a little shorter than the last ones XD.)
