QUESTS/EVENTS
Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.
Merrow could feel the cat's claws coming for her and let out a vicious hiss, breaking away from the creature before she was shredded. This fight wasn't over yet, and the vicious fire dragon was determined to have her feline buffet one way other another.
Another idea came to mind for the large, alligator hybrid. With a needle-teeth grin and another grumbling, rumbling snarl, she whipped around, thrashing her tail towards the feline to try and knock the everything out of her paws.

Imperia
Stupid tail
Imperia let out a growl as she was separated from the hybrid, unable to scratch her. She stared at her for a bit until she started to grin, confusing the caracal. It wasn't until she saw the tail heading in her direction that she realized why she was grinning. She made to move out of the way, but the tail was faster than she anticipated and she fell to the ground with a grunt.
She quickly scrambled up and scowled at the hybrid, teeth bared. Her claws worked into the cold ground below, imagining the hybrid below them. She tensed, and then sprung, claws aiming right toward her.

Merrow's blow landed with ease and her fur puffed up with pride, letting out a rumbling roar of pride that only slightly squeaked this time. Her wings beat against the floor to a war drum only she could hear, and her tiny, beady eyes pinpointed on her opponent as the cat gathered herself back up and got ready to strike.
Let her come, Merrow thought, black tongue running over her shiny, needle-like teeth, her tail in a slow swish behind her. The cat lunged and Merrow opened her jaws, using her wings to push back away from the feline's claws as she summoned all the magic she had built up in her system. The cat's claws sliced dangerously close to her nose, but as long as her magic worked...

Imperia
Fine then
Imperia felt herself getting closer, and closer...And then all too suddenly, she heard the flap of wings and then her face became engulfed in heat. She yowled and tried to rear back, but the momentum from her leaping after the hybrid only caused the caracal to crash into her. She scowled and quickly scrambled off, facing her.
So. She was going to do it that way, huh? So be it. She watched her for a while before deciding to do the same thing she had done. She had the spell, she could do it. But would it work? Only one way to find out. She scrambled a bit closer, took a deep breath, and let it all out, hoping it would work.

Poor, poor, giant doofy dragon baby Merrow. Already somewhat on fire from fierce claws, breathing a fiery breath hadn't made her win the fight. No, it had only caused the cat to fire breathe back at her. The only bright side was that she wasn't cold anymore; the icy tunnel was more or less forgotten.
Unfortunately it was a bit too hot for her to handle. The burns were starting to sting, and with a cry of agony, the noodle dragon tried to scramble away, tossing herself about in an attempt to douse the flame in the damp, cold ice.
"NOOOO!!! MERROW DRAGON!!! BAD FOOD!" She hissed as she went, trying to stop the hungry flames that grew like a forest fire in her fur before she turned into a crisp.
round: 5 of 5 attempt: AAAA?????? STOP BEING ON FIRE defense: FLAILING WILDLY injuries: internal burns, face-fluff catching fire, scratches
Imperia chuckled as she watched the hybrid tried to stop the flames that the caracal had caused. She had managed to stop the flames from when she had done it, though she wasn't sure how. As she watched, she had a feeling that the battle had finished. And that she had won. She grinned at that. Finally, her first battle she had lost, but she finally won one.
Imperia watched a bit more before losing interest. "I hope you enjoyed that battle as much as I did," she grunted. She had a feeling of victory, almost certain that she had won. Sure, she had some wounds, but so did the other!
Merrow knew she had lost, but there was an anger that hadn't been stomped out when the fire had. She glared at the feline with the spark she didn't had, tail thumping fiercely against the melting ice, cracking and crunching under her weight.
"MERROW EAT! FIGHT UNFAIR! SWAMP! MERROW KILL!" It wasn't the clearest message, but she didn't care. Instead, she twisted about, squirming her way back home. In the swamp, she had the advantage-- and if Imperia decided to press her luck, Merrow would be happy to drown her.
She really was a big grumpy baby, and losing didn't come easy to her simply, fierce mind.
@Imperia ; exit :D t'was fun thank you ;u; i love fighting with my dumb stupid baby <3
Imperia smirked as she watched the hybrid leave. Seems she wasn't too happy about losing. The caracal couldn't blame her, losing sucked. But she had won, which was good enough for her. She watched a bit longer before turning away as well, heading away from the site of the battle and back to somewhere more familiar.
