Splashy walked into the tunnel and looked around. The tunnel seemed to curve down. It was covered in ice and snow, and the floor was jagged. He blinked. "Well. This will be interesting. Plenty to e-explore here," he chuckled lightly before turning over to look at Sky. "It might also be a b-bit difficult too..," his voice trailed off. "But I-interesting nonetheless!"

Sky took a glance around the tunnel they had just entered. It was dark, but not so much that they were unable to see. The uneven floor was difficult to walk on compared to the ground of Pisces, but they were able to manage. They looked over to Splashy, who appeared to have been doing just the same thing by examining the tunnel. They nodded when the feline directed his voice at them, unsure of what to say other than a soft, "Very interesting.."

"Well, shall we get started exploring?" Splashy began to walk along the uneven floor as carefully as he could, trying to avoid any patches of snow and ice. The last thing he wanted was to fall. "Shall we just walk through the tunnel, exploring all that there is, and then...go to wherever it takes us and explore there?" He looked over at Sky, his head tilted.

Sky nodded, following with caution. They supposed Splashy couldn't see them nod, but they hoped their answer was apparent enough. At the next question, they nodded again when Splashy looked at them. They sighed, once again admiring the way the other cat looked. Distracted, they hadn't realized they had walked straight into a patch of ice until they felt their paws slip beneath them. They cried out loudly in fear as they nearly fell, but they had barely managed to keep their balance. A sigh of relief escaped them as they carefully took a more comfortable position.

Splashy began to looked away when Sky nodded. Their cry of fear made him quickly whip his head back around, eyes wide. He soon realized they had walked straight onto a patch of ice, and watched as they struggled to remain balanced. He breathed a sigh of relief when he realized they succeeded. "Are you o-ok?" he asked, looking at his friend with a look of concern.

Sky nodded quickly, their breath still shaking from the shock. Their leg stung a bit from the way it had been bent, but it wasn't unbearable. They took careful steps now, avoiding any ice they could. They walked slow, hoping it wasn't too slow for their friend. They looked at Splashy every now and then to make sure he was still there beside them. Slowly, they moved closer so that their fur brushed against his soft pelt. A small purr escaped them before they could stifle it.

When Splashy was certain that Sky was alright, he began to continue walking. He walked slowly, allowing his friend to set the pace. The two walked side by side, walking slowly and carefully, making sure neither of them slipped on ice. At one point, he noticed that Sky had walked closer until their fur was touching. A smile appeared when he heard them began to purr and decided to purr along with them. His purr was soft and hardly noticeable unless you were actively looking for it.

Sky had relaxed at the feel of Splashy's fur against theirs. He was such a kind cat, and he certainly appeared to care a lot about their well-being. They pondered over how they felt about the other feline. They certainly thought he was cute, and caring, and gentle. Sky liked him quite a bit. He was a good friend to have. But they didn't know how they felt about the word "friend".

As they walked, Splashy couldn't help it as his eyes continued to drift toward Sky. He enjoyed looking at them, at the black tuft of fur on their head and those beautiful, gorgeous eyes. The blue color, with bands of white caused his heart to flip every time he saw them. He couldn't help it. And he cared for the cat so much. He didn't want to ever see them hurt, or scared. He continued to look at his eyes until he realized with a jolt that he had been staring for quite a while now. He quickly looked in front of him again and back to the path they were walking on, glad that he had managed not to slip on any ice. He hoped that Sky hadn't noticed that he had been staring right at them for a while.
