Carni finds Ori's stone washed up on the shores in Pisces,
as he travels through the caves in search of old friends.

So far, the journey had been fruitless. A few gembound were around, sure, but none were familiar, and wary of conflict, the dethroned king kept his distance. He indeed kept to the skies, occasionally willing his magic to help carry him along, but otherwise gliding on the gentle warmth that came through vents and tunnels from Fornax.

Pisces was where he knew another group to live. Eridanus had been home to the now vanished Guardians. Pisces was his kingdom's allies' home. Except, their scent was long gone. Only their wall etchings and shallow beds remained, long unused. Sorrowful, the feline hybrid landed gently on moist stone and walked his way through this now saddening cave. He was ready to leave minutes later when a glint of light caught his eye. Another yellow stone! Another gem! This one was alone, already detached from its host and left to drift in the currents. It sat nestled into the pebbles and rocks of Pisces' lagoon banks.

This one, shaped like a skull, was larger, but still fit comfortably into the cloak he wore. There was no moment to mourn. With no body to mourn, this odd stone could simply have been a yet-to-attach gembound in the making or something. He'd bring it home, to Canis, and there, he'd give it and the other life.

Decidedly, his journey was over. If he could not find his friends, he would make new ones.

He could do that now.

And so, he took to the air once more, heading directly for home.
