The entire cat was vibrating, her scream finally dying away to be replaced by a spitting noise as she crouched low and began to advance towards Reseda, her eyes burning with a dull light. Her magic was out of control, small pink sparks flying from her gemstone. A number of small rocks began to hurl themselves at Reseda, not enough to do significant damage, but the barrage continued for some time as Wilder got closer, all the while making that horrible noise, looking very much unlike the cat she'd been before.

As the rocks came barelling at her, Reseda curled her head in and covered it with her claws, feeling rock after rock bouncing against her hide. It would bruise, maybe, but it was an annoyance. But that noise...she didn't know why, but that noise put her own edge. She did not like that noise. Something in her shivered unnaturally...she needed to end it.

Finally, she moved her claws from her face and stared at the cat. Magic collected in her gem and she tried to ignore the rocks bumping against her head until, at least, the spell had built up enough energy. She didn't make a full blast this time - this was not the time for her to be messing up and hurting herself, but hopefully it would be enough to get the kitten to calm.

The spell was invisible so Wilder could not prepare for it. She just got closer, her ears flat against her head, her eyes stretched to the limits, smitting and hissing and vibrating out of control, her tail lashing to and fro. She stopped in front of the dragon and reached forward with extended claws.

Her claws hovered above the gem lashes around the dragon's eye but then the spell hit her, square in the chest and from her throat erupted a horrible scream. She flung herself back as white hot pain spread through her torso and through her body. She scrambled against the ground, claws raking, tail beating, everything out of control everything falling apart the world fragmenting cracking crashing destroying the magic the pain the P̸̖̋A̸͙͑Í̴͖N̷̺͗

What the fuck was wrong with this cat?! Quite the fight she had picked, apparently, since, upon her hitting the kitten with her magic, the thing went absolutely insane, screaming incoherently, throwing herself to the ground and completely losing it. Reseda was completely dumbfounded. Never before had anyone had a reaction this violent. But...she could take advantage of this. This was supposed to be her time to let lose on some innocent stranger, right? No better chance to push her around then when she was at a disadvantage.

She sucked in a breath, backing away from the spot she had rested before, and, when she was a safe distance away, breathed out with all of her force. Magic trailed in the wind she breathed and immediately picked up the smallest of the rocks and pebbles that Wilder had barraged her with. When the tornado got to her, she would get cut up pretty good and tossed around like a ragdoll. She watched this was pleasure, a rumbling beginning deep in her throat.

Wilder was no match for the tornado. In an instant, it picked her up and began to fling her around, barraging her with rocks and pebbles, sharp and blunt, bruising and cutting her while she screamed and screamed and screamed.

Her magic was pulsing into the air, most of it lost to the whirlwind but to the bits of it that managed to catch on, the bits of the tornado began to shift and change, stretch and redirect, instead heading towards Reseda. She fell to the ground, smacking into the rocks painfully, but not hard enough to break any of her bones. But still...her thrashing and screaming and clawing was doing no good to her health.

Reseda watched closely as the cat was thrown around, tossed like she was just another rock. The screams were starting to wear on her. She wished she would just shut up. But then the tornado shifted its direction. Well, not all of it, but the debris being flung around was now being thrown at her once again. She hissed and cringed as she was battered, once again, with rocks and pebbles. She hated this cat.

As soon as the attack ended, she didn't waste any time. She had been building up magicka for a few seconds and now it was ready to be unleashed. From her body came a shining light that, a moment later, flashed out of control and Reseda groaned as she realized what was happening. There was a loud booming noise as Reseda was flung back, the explosion of magicka creating a small crater in the ground where she had been standing, and she was thrown against a rock some ways away. As she flopped back onto the ground, she felt blood trickling down her side. Glancing back, she hissed with anger at the sight of a piece of rock imbedded in her skin. It was pretty deep too.

This was supposed to be her knocking around the cat, not knocking around herself! But they were equally wounded and that frustrated the lizard beyond belief.

The explosion pushed Wilder back as well and she screamed with terror as she was thrown away from Reseda. But now she was beyond the pain, beyond running. The trance had turned her mad, insane, foam dripping from the corner of her mouth as she scrambled to her feet. She breathed heavily, her jaws cracked open as she regarded Reseda blankly. A second later, she was sprinting towards the dragon, making a number of angry cat noises, her claws clacking against the ground. Pulses of energy came from her body, crumbling parts of the rock Reseda was against, and she continued running, shooting towards her target like a bullet.

The cat was coming closer again and Reseda honestly wished she didn't have to deal with her anymore. This had been a mistake. She should have just killed her when she wasn't expecting it.

She collected magicka again, as much as she could, ignoring the rocks pouring down on her, ignoring the bruises and bashes and cuts she was getting from it, before the glowing light came again. This time, she carefully directed it, making sure not to let it out of her control, and released its power.

She was running fast, running as fast as she could, screeching and screaming all the way, saliva dripping from her mouth in a stream. When she got to the dragon, she would tear her apart. But then it struck again, this time right against her chest and she stumbled, collapsing on the ground as the pain came again, smashing into her like a tidal wave. She screeched and and pulse of energy, stronger then before, erupted from her body, dislodging rocks and causing small tremors to pass through the earth. The rock near Reseda cracked under the force and it began to fall while Wilder turned and sprinted away, screaming through the pain, her black fur matted with blood and her spirit utterly spent.

The crumbling rock behind her alerted Reseda to the danger she was in. She scrambled to her feet and bolted out of the way, barely in time as the large rock she had been thrown into earlier completely collapsed. She breathed hard, realizing that she had barely made it out. In fact, if her tail wasn't already a stump, she probably would have lost it.

She turned for the cat, but she was already gone. She gritted her teeth, her tongue flickering, angry that she had gotten away and angry that this hadn't at all gone the way she planned. She kicked a rock angrily, confused and lost. She didn't know what to do. If she couldn't even kill a tiny kitten, what good was she?
