(E5) Deli has discovered a fledgling stichtite gemstone; it is in the shape of a long quill. It can be revived without fail.

(F3) Pip and Morpho have discovered a magical bracelet. It is wide and silver, and set with a tiny transparent plum purple round-cut gem. It will resize to fit the wearer.

(A4) Linea has discovered a light chain necklace that is silver in color. It can be fashioned however she may wish to wear it.

(A1) Calypso has discovered a pupil tugtupite gemstone; it is in the shape of a jagged scar, almost like lightning. It can be revived without fail.

Her hands caught something soft underneath her calloused palms. It was smooth; it flowed like water when she picked it up and she could see, only just, the way it twinkled when she held it towards the red and blue lights of Polaris.

But then she heard two calls for her name. Her head turned towards the sound of Hunter, and then her father. One cervidae ear flicked-- and then she heard.. something. A thump?

Vivilene hesitated for a moment. And then she went bounding for the general direction of Attikias, wrapping the shimmery silk fabric around her shoulders. It was warm, somehow, delicate-- she liked it. She liked that her dad had fallen into a trap a lot less, though.

Bleat. She stuck her little hands down into the trap and started trying to haul him back out of the trap.

Mitis had continued to wander, watching everything that happened around her. She had also discovered that the small moving things, those that crunched, could be eaten successfully most of the time and not cause herself harm. So that was what she did, even though she had to consume a lot of them. She just privately hoped they didn't know what was happening to them. It made her feel bad.

She had pushed this thought to the side, primarily, when she entered the tunnel and saw it veiled in darkness. It was a novelty, but so was everything else in this world. She was so new to it that everything was unusual, so for something to be unusual was usual. She heard some noises in the dark, but it didn't even occur to her that just because she couldn't see something else didn't mean it couldn't see her. To Mitis, the darkness seemed kind of safe... especially since she herself was black.

She kept her ears on a swivel, but began to snuffle at the ground as she moved forward.

Mitis is searching B1.

He waddled into the tunnel, humming, letting out a near silent "oh." as he found it to be completely pitch black and dark. he heard the sounds, flicking his ears and giggling, sniffling around for anything in the dark, surveying the area with his whiskers and tail, searching for someone or someTHING to grab onto.

Sheng is searching F6

He was in the middle of calling when something slid under his feet, dropping him down into somewhere with a soft 'oof'. A sharp tingle of pain ran up his rear end and he winced; that'd bruise for sure. He used the wall of the pit to pull himself up as he rubbed his back back into shape.

A waft of air pushed over his face as he struggled to stare up. "Who's there?" Even if he couldn't see, he squinted with his hand above his face like he was shielding his eyes from lights. "Hold on." He reached, standing tall and struggling to find where the noise and hands came from.

When he felt the warm hands of Vivilene, he seemed to recognize them by simple touch. Besides, who else around here had hands like that? "Okay, brace yourself, Vivi," he warned, using the offered hands to help pull himself up, using the other to try and find hand-holds on the way up.

When he finally breached the surface, he let go, grabbing at the edge and having a brief moment of almost sliding in, only to pull himself up last minute with a hearty breath and flop next to Vivilene. "Thanks, sweetie," he huffed out from on his back. "This place is weird."

He gave it a moment to let it all process before pulling himself up with a grunt. "Alright- let's go find your sister. He was around here, right..?" Looking left and right, he struggled with his only reliable sense to see... Nothing but Vivilene.

And hey, she got a neat item, too! Attikias's eyes lit up at seeing the shawl, head tilting. "Hey, that's a nice find. It fits you really well, moonlight." He ruffled between her growing antlers gently before turning away. "Hey, Hunter! You out there bud?"

He'd come to check on the progress of things here in Polaris but utter darkness was not what he'd expected. He could hear voices, out there, and a quick glance back told him that it was only this cave that appeared to have been dropped into shadow.

The stag's brow furrowed and he stepped delicately into the black, calling out.

"Is anyone out there in need of help-?" he asked. Some sounded as though they'd fallen, somehow, or were otherwise struggling--maybe he could aid..?

Pride briefly debated trying to create light, but his only light magic generally made illusions--it wasn't useful as a light source. And making a wisp would just give his location away in the darkness to any enemies that might be lurking.

He gathered potential energy around himself like a cloak, wrapping it close in what definitely wasn't fear, and then strode deeper into Polaris.

Pride will be searching A6.

Deli

Deli felt their foot touch something and looked down, a grin spreading on their face at the sight of the gemstones. That looked pretty interesting! They leaned down and snatched it up in their paws, holding it close to their face to look at it before slipping it into their bag. Ohhhh, they wanted more treasures! There was probably more things to find here!

Excitement had them putting probably a little too much magic into their spell and as they continued to wander, looking around, the area around them grew far more clear as they were able to see through the darkness.

"Morpho!" Pip said. She may not have seen Morpho, or even been able to recognize them upon seeing them. But Pip remembered Morphos voice. "I've been looking for you! I found a bunch of weird stuff like a big door with rings. And a bunch of weird tree-gembound!" Pip reminded herself. "Did you know some gembound grow weird fuzzy stuff and have wet eyes and big ears? Not like that one glowy thing! These things are different, they're called cats! Its kinda gross, though."

Pip tapped the ground, starting in Morphos direction. Her paw touched something hard and metallic. What was that? Pip put her clawed arms around the thing, trying to pick it up. It seemed to shrink to be more easily carried, although the thought that it could or even had in the first place slipped her mind. "Morpho I found this weird metally thing! Its kinda heavy."

Pip tapped her way to Morpho, feeling relief when she found them. At least, it was probably them. She placing the bracelet on top of what she thought was Morphos foot, in case they were curious about it too. She tucked her limbs in close to her body, imagining her handiwork. Pip jolted upright. Pip heard crashing and yelling from farther off. "Morpho, did you hear that?" With no other thoughts or words, Pip went in the direction of the yelling.

Yew was disoriented and scared.

How long she had been in her Chrysalis, she didn't know. But she'd woken alone, wandered and crying out for Mercurius, for Huckle, for Rift for anyone, even for Mother, eventually, for Grandmother; she had run into a few strangers, but 'I don't know them!' and had fled.

How she'd found herself to this Tunnel, she didn't know, but she'd startled a Golem and took off sprinting from Polaris, and darted into the tunnel, into the darkness with a yip-yip-yip, stuttered and odd from her throat, digging her paws in once she realized just how dark it was and fearful of slamming into something.

It noted the creature that went to help Attikias; related, somehow? It scribbled this down in its notebook too, along with some other tidbits about the creatures showing up for treasures.

Attikias is pulled free from the trap.

(B1) Mitis has discovered a dark pink silk piece; it has an otherworldly sheen, a mix between deep blue and purple. It can be fashioned however she may wish to wear it.

(F6) Shengxiao and Yewberry have discovered a pendant; Sheng is the first to touch it. This silver pendant is a rosette. It is accented with a large transparent colorless octagon-cut gem surrounded by transparent pastel yellow and pale blue gems.

(A6) Pride has discovered the Visitor. It does not move until it gets a good look at Pride; it reaches forward to pluck some of his white hairs before it disappears in a cold gust of wind to a different spot in the darkness. If Pride turns to look, he may catch a glimpse of its dark robe and a pair of glowing red eyes moving in the shadows. It has left behind a single glass orb, completely smooth and flawless. The orb is about one foot in circumference.

(D5) Deli has discovered a large chunk of pure silver. It can be fashioned into jewelry or tools, or used for whatever else they may come up with!

(B5) Pip has discovered a soft gold colored cotton scarf.
