Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.
Wynry loved being here with Vazi and the rest of their friends. It was always so wonderful. Of course, by now the adventurous sheep knew every inch of the thick jungle, every delicious fruit that fell from every tree, the best place to find freshly sprouted ferns. Shivering, he bounded through the roots and routes to his second favorite spot in all of Eridanus (the Monarch was his favorite, of course!)-- the Eyes. The water in these pools was always delicious, though for some reason he avoided drinking there too often.
"Come on Vazi~!" He bleated, his high-pitch voice carrying through the foliage. Lately he had begun to speak in even higher tones than he was born with, his voice strongly musical in more than one way... He still had the babyish sing-song quality to the way he spoke. "Watch this~!" He called as he broke out into the clearing where the beautiful pools lay, perfectly symmetrical. He raced around the pools a couple of times until he saw his friend come forth from the undergrowth, and then he tore away from the water-- twisted around in a single leap-- and raced back towards the water.
With a howl of laughter, the sheep leaped and plunged into the water, splashing waves in the usually perfectly still pool in a large plop! The heat of Eridanus was forgot almost immediately, the cool, crisp fresh water flooding into his thick wool.
It had been a while since the strong, young ten point buck had gotten to have fun with his friend. He was glad that he got to do so now as they raced to Eridanus. Hooves clattered against the ground and as he ran he tossed his antlers happily, feeling the comforting weight of Arkrael's gift against his left tine. It was nice.
As he raced through Eridanus behind his friend his laughter rang out, strong and deep. He was growing stronger and bigger and though he still had some more growing to go he cut a handsome figure. His strong legs powering him through the foliage in powerful leaps and bounds while his tail, white underneath, raised into the air as he shot forward.
He made it just in time to watch his lamb friend jump right in. Well, who was he if he didn't join in the fun? "Nice job, brother, but what about this?!" With that he pawed his hoof on the ground then leaped, going right into the water after his brother-lamb.

The water is as crisp as snow, gleaming a light arctic blue as it caught the lights of the jungle room. Despite how cold it is, Wynry doesn't seem to feel the briskness. Instead what is felt is a pleasant, mild temperature that feels cool and refreshing against the humid heat of Eridanus. There is a light current that twists and twirls beneath his hooves, keeping him afloat in the water.
As soon as Vazi hits the water, the chilliness hits him tenfold. The currents play beneath his hooves as well, but they tug at him, not light enough to bring him under but just powerful enough to instill a sense of worry in the young stag as they mischievously curl around his legs and sink him deeper.

Vazi. He tracked the scent of his saviour slowly, lips curled to sniff the air at odd intervals where he paused just to make sure that he was on the right path. The peryton was bored. Bored was an understatement. He had all the time in the world and nothing to lose not since he’d finished off Silver and paid a most mundane visit to Maji Walezi. Perhaps this deer would give him something fun to do. The 4 point peryton fawn nickered to no one in particular and decided to take to the air. He spread out his wings and in two beats was off, soaring through the tunnels to reach Eridanus where Vazi had travelled to. He picked up another foreign scent which seemed rather delicious. All the more reason to meet them. A smile was upon his cherubin features now as he neared the pair, a fluffy white sheep and his saviour at the small pools, both seeming to enjoy sploshing around. A look of disdain crossed flashed across his eyes but from that height, would not have been visible to his new company. He descended gracefully before them, taking care to have his hooves make contact with dry land. Once upon the ground, the peryton tucked in his wings and looked at them neutrally, dull, detached curiosity in his gaze. Otherwise, he was quite the perfect slender statue, seemingly gentle, meek and mild. "What are you doing?" his raspy voice came forth, though his tone suggested that he was not all that interested in wanting to know rather, he was judging them for immaturely playing in the water.
The water was wonderful! He laughed, his belly bubbling with the biggest giggle fit of all time. "That was wonderful, brother~!" He bleated, kicking gently at the water-- the pool was so deep, but he floated so effortlessly. It was the most comfortable "bath" he had ever had, and for a brief moment he thanked the Cave for providing such a great place to play.
Perhaps he might have noticed the panic that burst out from his deer brethern almost immediately, but a huge deer with WINGS floated down and spoke to them and Wynry let out a loud bleat of joy. "Oh GOSH! Hello there!~" He cried out, chuckles still coming up through his windpipe. He was so happy to meet another deer-- had Vazi told him about this one? Oh, what was his name!
"We're having fun, silly!" The young sheep declared, leaning back in the water with ease, raising his hooves above the water just enough to slam them down with enough force to make a splash right at Rafael. Come on in, the water--!" He would have said that the water was just fine, or even downright lovely but it was just about then that he noticed Vazi was having some, err... Trouble.

VAZI HASIRA
"shattered innocence"
The moment Vazi landed in the water he felt the unnatural chill beneath his fur, felt the water trying to drag him down. Panic shot through his body, turning his gem a sickly green color as he floundered his legs. He felt magic pull at his gem as he accidentally cast a spell, one to hold all water inside of himself to keep from losing his own water due to stress. Being a water user he had more of an affinity for water, even when it was pulling at him like it was so he was able to get to shore. Shivering, and frightened he stood at the shore with his legs trembling as he stared down at Wynry. How was the lamb not cold? How was he not being dragged down with that fluffy wool? That water was evil! He hadn't felt anything like it before!
Before he could say anything Rafael showed up, landing near them and questioning their motives. If he hadn't been so panicked he might have picked up the disdain but as it was the stag could only worry about his coldness and fear. "Were, playing in the water... but it's really cold." Perhaps the wool helped Wyn float? He knew it had to be keeping him warm as well. "Is that water not cold to you at all, Wyn?" His ears tilted towards the lamb, curious at how he was still splashing about in the water.

Rafael stood still. Poised in elegance, he never let his dove grey gaze deviate from the object of his curiousity who had performed the most incorrigible act of all – calling him silly followed by splashing water at him. The peryton scoffed deep in his heart at the foolishness of this prey but did not flinch. He kept his unwavering, innocent gaze upon the white sheep and replied coolly, almost respectfully, "I see. Hello.” His voice was neither warm nor cold. It simply was a greeting with no strings attached. Neither was he interested in really understanding what made up the sheep .All he knew was that Vazi had chosen to follow along with this fluffy fool, choosing the sheep over him! This infuriated Rafael and now, the peryton turned his head to look at Vazi, wanting to see the reaction of the elder male in response to his arrival.
To keep up his charade, Rafael absent-mindedly walked into the pool upon the sheep’s invitation, allowing his four hooves to be submerged. It was rather boring to him, much like transitioning from sand to sea. He was highly unimpressed as the water enveloped his hooves. The sensation of water was forgotten though for alas, Vazi seemed to be a nervous wreck as he exited from the pools. Cold? He was puzzled. The water felt just fine to him. But Vazi did not ask him his next question. He asked the sheep called Wyn. "It is not cold,” he replied in the sheep’s stead, unhappy that the attention of his saviour was upon a mindless sheep. "Perhaps you felt a chill. Get some rest, Vazi.” He nodded as he advised his saviour in a detached manner, not really caring whether or not the deer chose to heed his words. All that Rafael needed was…his attention.
Wynry stared up at his big brother as he scrambled out of the pool, leaving the lamb alone in the Eye that seemed to welcome his peaceful, calm presence. "W-what's wrong, brother?" He asked, voice cracking slightly. He didn't understand, he thought Vazi would love this place... But he thought it was cold? Perhaps Wynry's thick coat kept him warmer. The water felt so cool and lovely to him. Twitching his ears, he looked to the stranger, Rafael, wondering what this other deer wanted.
There was something weird about him... But there was something weird about everyone! Wynry wasn't too phased by weirdness, and promptly pushed his concerns away and just smiled brightly. "I'll get out in a second, brother! Just lemme have another minute, okay? It's real nice." He kicked around, swimming about in a wide circle, burning off some of the energy he had accumulated.
"You know Vazi, friend?" He asked after a moment, flashing his gaze back to the strange deer. "Vazi, who is this guy! He seems nice."
The young stag shook his head, no, he was certain he wasn't tired. That water was freezing. Perhaps Wyn's fur allowed him to swim around in it just fine but not him. Strange that it was so cold. "If you insist... that it is not cold." He eyed the water skeptically but said no more about it, instead he turned to Rafael. "Glad to see that you are here, Raf." He didn't know if the other deer wanted to play or not, he seemed rather detached from it all, but it was nice to have him around anyhow. He'd seen the little one at birth and felt attached to him almost in the way that he was attached to Wynry.
"He is a fawn I found out in Orion. His name is Rafael and I would like to think he could be a part of our little herd." Well, it wasn't really much of a herd just him and Wynry but maybe one day it could be one. Vazi would protect them all! "Only if he wants though." Vazi smiled. It was no real obligation to be in his little herd because it wasn't official and everyone could roam and play with whoever, wherever they wanted.
