The lemur grinned proudly at Comet's praise, handing Comet back the green stone and receiving the raspite. She turned it over in her hands, marveling at it's flame-like coloration. "Oh, Okay!" Was she going to make them look at all of her stones? There sure were a lot, but it was only extra chances to practice her magic!

So, she held the fiery stone in her hand, staring down at it, "Ok, fire-rock, what creature were you?" She asked aloud, feeding her magic into the stone like she had before.

Her eyes lit up upon seeing the creature's hoard. Was it still around? Could she find it? "It looked kinda like a red mouse? But it was brown, and with a weird nose." She told Comet, "And it had TREASURE! A bunch of shiny things!" She still held onto the stone, "Can I keep this one? I mean, you have a LOT of stones! I wanna figure out where this thing's treasure is! If it's still around.." She stared at Comet with brilliant, multi-colored pleading puppy-eyes.

As before, there was no guarantee that the life that Abracadabra saw was the right one. Still, the images were pretty to look upon, if not necessarily informative.

A small hole, leading to a den. A crystalline light gleamed down on the face of a tiny, brown creature--a shrew, though it was unlikely the lemur would know this--as it peered out from this den. Eyes shone; nose quivered, and behind it was a small nest of collected scraps that, together, formed a beautiful whole. A small and near-luminescent blue-white stone; a small and twisted piece of silver glinting in the light; a scrap of black fur; a single, bright pink feather...

"Whoa that's cool!" Comet had never heard of anything that was sort of like a red mouse, but not really. And the treasure part was exciting too, especially for an explorer like her! It had only just hit her that she was sort of leeching off this lemur's offer at having them cast a spell on all the stones. But she already had plans for that stone, she had to give it as payment to someone.

"Oh um, not this one. I need to pay someone with it. But you can have some other ones perhaps? How about this one?" She held up the periwinkle lawsonite. Comet would've felt guilty if she hadn't paid Abra, so she hoped that one of the stones would satisfy them. "Why don't you try seeing what this one will tell you too!"

"Oh, Okay." Somewhat reluctantly, she gave Comet back the raspite in exchange for the lawsonite. It was pretty, at least! Very shiny. Maybe it would show her the way to some treasure too?

"Alright! Lets see where you've been.." She murmured to the periwinkle gemstone, reaching into it with her magic as she had been doing with the other two stones.

"Oh, it was big!" Abra grinned, "It had a weird, big nose, and big teeth! And hands, like me!" She looked down at said hands, wiggling them slightly as she put down the stone. "Which one's next?

The lemur's vision fell away, replaced by something else: though again, there were no guarantees about what was being seen.

A creature, at the edge of a thin and trickling creek, shifting foliage surrounding it. The soft sound of birdcry rose up, eclipsing real sound around the magical watcher. The beast was on all fours, heavy-limbed, with a slightly taller front end; thick, black fur covered it in a shaggy pelt, edged with chocolate hues and a white stripe down its muzzle. A pink, pig-like nose, two small tusks, and almost humanoid eyes made up the face; the ears were small, pointed, and tufted. The forelimbs were again humanoid, knuckle-walking along, while the back were cloven-hooved; a short, tufted tail balanced along behind it.

It paused to dip its snout into the water to drink, and as it began, its brown irises shifted as if to stare straight at Abracadabra.

The vision faded.

"Wow!" Comet wondered how that animal would have looked like. 'Big nose, big teeth, and hands.' were not much of a description to go off of unlike the previous stones. But that must mean that this particular creature had been quite strange indeed since Abra had not described it as well.

"Hmm, perhaps this one?" she picked out the ice blue hemimorphite out of the ice sled and dropped it in front of the lemur. It look the most similar to her own stone out of all of them, so she interested to find what was inside.

Abra took the wintry hemimorphite from Comet, "Okay!" She replied, tossing it from one hand to another a couple times. It was nice to just look at the stone, and not be staring at something there-but-not-quite through her magic-induced visions.

But! She had a job to do, and magic to cast! So after a deep breath, and a quiet, murmured, "What were you, ice-rock?" She attempted to see what had been in the stone before.

"It was kinda like a really, REALLY weird deer!" She began, "It had a really long neck that kinda went like this!" She made a swooping motion in the air with a hand, "It had a really lumpy back with these weird spots on it. Oh! And big green wings!"

The world faded to shifting foliage and birdsong, Abracadabra's mind filled with the scent of petrichor and the sound of running water. A tall creature stood still, silent, among the clustered foliage of what was unmistakeably Eridanus. It was ungulate in its most basic appearance--cow or deer; four-legged, long-bodied. Short, thick fur was a rich tan in color, split by creamy lines, like a faded giraffe: and indeed its neck was long, towering above the shorter trees. A camel-like hump sat atop its back, and a switching tail was bushy--hanging down to below the hocks--and ringed with bands of grey. The neck was u-shaped, curved out and then back in a regal twist, like perhaps a camel's, and shaggy with an agouti mane. Long lashes batted over brilliant green eyes shrouded by a darker grey, raccoon-like mask. The rest of the details--the feet, and so on--were not quite clear--but as it turned away, two great, vivid-green wings spread from its back--perhaps mistaken for leaves before--and the unlikely hybrid took flight through the trees. They swept below... and the vision faded.

Comet watched as Abra described what she had seen in the stone. A deer with a long neck that that was sort of crooked? She tried to imagine what it would be like if a deer and a neck like a snake, which was what her mind jumped to. Then there was a lumpy back-- and wings! She made the connection to James, who you could say looked like a weird deer with wings, but the crooked back and neck were not there.

"That's a cool stone! It sort of sounds like a mix of a deer and a butterfly and a snake!" Comet tried to explain what she was imagining. Now most of the stones in her ice sled were done, only a few more were needed. There had been a lot of green stones, so this time she took out the magnesite that was in a crescent moon shape. "Try this one?"

Abra would nod, "There's a lot of weird-looking creatures!" She replied, "Must've taken a while to get so many cool stones." Abra never came upon such stones. Maybe she should look for some herself? She wasn't really sure what she'd do with them after, though- or what this wolf pup was planning to do with so many, even.

Abra trailed a finger over the magnesite's moon-like curve. It certainly looked different than the others, an almost marble-like stone. "Ooo, this one's pretty!" She observed, before getting down to business, cupping the stone in both hands. "Alrighty! lets take a look.."

Abra couldn't help but let out a startled squeak as the grub-creature within the vision ate a little bird whole. "It was some kind of caterpillar, but with snail eyes and it could glow!" She described it the best she could, "And it ate a bird WHOLE. It mouth just shot forward and swallowed it!" The horror she felt at such a sight was clear in her voice.
