Do you want to hone your magical, physical, or other skills? Do you want to experience the thrill of a battlefield without risking life or limb? Do you just want to spar against your fellow Gembound?

Look no further than the WARGAMES! ^{copyright pending}

You see, knowing of the many dangers the caves hold (Mother, Hydra, dragons, whatever the hell's happening at the Chaos Forge), but not liking the blood and gore of the Deathmatches, Astéri's taken it upon himself to help train anyone who's willing via fun battle-esque games!

Note that this is just early planning, and things are subject to change. That being said, here's the basics:

The first WARGAME to take place in the caves will be a fun session of Capture-the-Flag set in Monoceros. There will be an open thread or two dedicated towards Astéri's efforts to set the arena up and make sure it's fair (and safe!) for any Gembounds participating. After that will be the actual game!

The rules of the game are as follows:
- Gembound are divided into approximately equal teams—two to four, depending on attendance. Their goal will be to run across the play area (marked by dyed boundaries, most likely), grab the flag in another team's territory, and bring it back to theirs.
- A team is eliminated when they lose their flag, or when all members from that team are eliminated. Last team standing wins!
- No actually hurting Gembound. Spells, Other tactics, and Physical techniques are all allowed, but they've all gotta leave bruises at worst. If you wanna hurt someone, go do it in Orion's arena. This is just for fun.

You might realize there's some stuff missing from the rules; namely, how players get eliminated, and what happens to them after they're eliminated. That's because I want you guys to decide! In particular:

- Should players be eliminated via tag, or should harsher methods such as tripping or pinning be it?
- What happens to eliminated players? Are they sent to 'jail' on the side who captured them, and another teammate has to rescue them? Are they simply out of the game? Or they get to come back after some time when they're eliminated?
