Riftmaster
by Moonlit Dream (Miles)
"How do I get back to Earth?"
"You don't."
Bailey Jones is an ordinary college student... or at least he thought he was, until the day he was whisked away from Earth by a strange and mysterious force known as the Rift. Stranded on an alien planet with everything he knew and loved light-years away, Bailey feels like a fish out of water and all he can do is hope for a miracle.
Luckily, Bailey is snatched from death's door and tended by a small and otherworldly creature named Seven-horn. Confused and alone, Bailey must let go of everything he knew and try his utmost to survive. Staying alive won't be easy, however; and the istability of the Rift means that he can't settle even for a moment. Bailey has little to look forward to save for an eternity of letting go.
But hope can be found in unexpected places; and even all the way out here, Bailey is not alone. But... just who is the mysterious man referring to himself as the Riftmaster, and just why has the cosmic traveller decided to take Bailey under his wing?

He enjoys reading and collecting old books, with one of his favourites being Peter Beagle’s The Last Unicorn.
