North-East Quadrant — Cepheus

Cepheus is known as the Room of Kings, fit with a palace and expansive garden. The palace grounds are guarded by Isra, a lion-like valkhound with snake tails. The majority of the palace is built with foreign alabaster stone and has varying ornate features, including tiled floors, plush pillows, and a courtyard at the center with potted trees, walkways, and narrow pools of water. Beyond the palace is the gardens. Elsewhere, the room is mostly empty with grassy fields, short trees, and worn trails. Near the Tunnel F entrance is a raised hill, with an ever-blooming tree creating a perpetual blanket of petals at the top. This room is strangely dim, with black crystals lining its ceiling that cast the room in Voidlight. It is weakest near the cave lights and lights of the palace, and strongest in the shadows.
LOCATIONS

The Palace
Perhaps the most architecturally advanced building in the entire cave system, the Palace is mostly open for visitors but some rooms remained magically locked.
The Crystal Gardens
The gardens of the Palace boast water features, crystal sculptures, and varying plants. It has many places to sit and enjoy a snack, relax, or simply admire the view.
Grassy Knoll
A raised, grassy hill with a single blossoming tree at the top; the tree is always full with sweet white flowers.
The Gentle River
This narrow river curves through Cepheus; it is shallow and easy to pass through.

The Elenya Clan

The Elenya clan is a family group built upon trust and peace. Founded by Attikias Elenya, his adoption of various younger beings and welcoming of others into his camp has become a large group over time, supplemented by his own children that accompany him in his day to day activities. While nobody is obligated to stay close, anyone is encouraged to join or keep the Elenya name if they want to have a family to come back home to in the lonely nights.

Beings in the clan are encouraged to follow their own path. Nobody is obligated to do anything for the family, and they will always be welcome in Attikias's eyes. Typically harassing other members of the caves without reason is frowned upon, along with thievery and attacks, as the clan is not set out to antagonize anyone. While it's not a set rule, it's encouraged to try and keep others safe, to build alliances and friendships where you can.

Even if they're far apart, all members of the Elenya family remain family if they wish to, whether they're in the group itself or not.

The Elenya clan's camp is developed and busy, with its sandy dirt showing evidence of a lot of foot traffic. What started as a natural clearing has grown due to the expansion of new homes- the original shack with space to fit around five humanoids lays in front of a small copse of trees. Directly in front of it is a firepit, circled by small stones and dry logs to seat one’s self at. Urns with various powders and dried spices are found, and two bent metal rods poke out of the ground to hold a grill or spit.

If the first hut is east, then the second is to the south-east, nearby and larger than the first. While the first only has a sloping roof making up its lone back wall, the other is more of a tarp on sticks, creating a roof that protects open urns and pelts from the rain.

Further along this direction is a large workbench. Broken tools and projects lay strewn about it, and many wooden figures dot on and around it, carefully made to stand or perch. Notably in this area is an extremely lifelike figurine of a deer. Though, it seems almost hidden by a few leather straps, and pointedly turned away from the camp. Very rarely, faint deer-like cries can be heard from the object.

Between the table and rain-shed is a well-beaten path to a nearby river that can be heard faintly in the quiet of the night. To the table’s right, however, is a more hidden path, leading towards the nearby Eyes. It doesn’t seem to get much travel. By its entrance is a large, lumpy stone statue, decorated with silvery and blue flowers at its base.

Past this is a large nest, the area recently carved out of the pushed-back treeline. Carja’s personal, portable hoard is located here, as well as her saddle when she’s not donning it.

Running along back towards the main hut is sizable kiln beside a mix of urns and weapons that have been strewn about the area. Almost all of these have been seemingly scavenged from the tunnel before Monoceros- most are broken and unusable at this point. Near this, as well, is a secondary smoke-pit, designed to cure leather over it.

History

It began with Attikias developing a home for himself within Eridanus. Astéri was his first child, picked up from Polaris and adopted into his midst, and soon followed Vivilene, Hunter, Angela, and Volta out of a night of comradery between Attikias, Fisher, Azizos, and Nameless. Thalia had come about after Pride had learned of the family, willing to bring in more peaceful beings into the caves, while Selenite was created with Alpha as a way to (supposedly) keep the beast happy with them. Carja and Lyra have followed soon after, as Attikias welcomed them in Eridanus and having a child with the latter, who came to be known as Anastasia. Crafting was exchanged for a stone from Null, who grew to be Erebos, and a gem from Titanite and Attikias had grown to be x.

With so many people milling about, the group has officially formed with the beginnings of a feast. All friends of the family are invited.
