i'm carver! i'm 18 and graduated high school and community college last year. i'm currently trying to get into financial aid to be a student again, RIP, so most of my time right now is spent writing and drawing. i've been drawing all my life but only recently got off a hiatus for it! my deviantart is over @ tamamakneetohei.

i'm demisexual pansexual and polyamorous, which is a lot of big words to introduce myself with, haha. i'm neurodivergent as hell (so my writing can be a bit disorganized at times) and i'm currently living in the pacific northwest and in a LDR with my girlfriend who lives all the way over in mexico. i enjoy jogging with my dogs and uh, college, but i'm poor as hell unfortunately so that's not going so well X X

i have 2 cats, 2 dogs, and my dream is to study for a doctorate in astrophysics! i also like to play games, but i've gotten really picky lately. my favorite game is mass effect 2, but i'll be the first to admit the writing is nothing i want influencing my own skills. guilty pleasure.

Pretty much your stereotypical animal lover and hella obsessed with them, especially snakes and equines. I've got a cat and dog and they are my precious fur children. I also practice witchcraft and love paranormal things but that's not important. Oh boi sure I love to collect tarot cards.

I've been drawing since I was in the womb and love to make all kinds of art. Writing is my second love and roleplaying has been a hobby of mine since early middle school. A little extra fun fact about me is that I used to work as a stable hand at a boarding stable.

I'm Norvilion, a 30 year old programmer/IT guy. I started RPing back in high school on Neopets after trying my hand at what equated to a 50 page multi-genre bad fan fiction. Eventually got a bit better (I hope) and moved on to an elemental wolves site that disappeared suddenly with the loss of the host domain. In college I met Nightwolf714, who RP'd as well (which was the first time I'd ever actually met someone in real life with the hobby). Spent a bit of time at Unicorn's Visions, but unfortunately after a while site wasn't particularly active as people moved on. We moved on as well, got married, and I took up gaming more seriously. This past fall I randomly decided to seek out a RPing site again and stumbled upon Origin, which really jumped out due to its half-step in the direction of tabletop gaming.

Since it seems to be a topic going through among people here; we are poly, we've determined I'm pretty much demi, and I'm about as close to kinsey 0 as they come (sorry Yuri on Ice fans :P). Fun fact is that as part of working at a research institute I have two publications with first author status. Really they were little more than documentations for some of the programs I did, but the fact still looks good on a CV. I also do a bit of art as a hobby, though I’m much better with art manipulation than the lines themselves (not horrible I think, just not as good). On read through my wife said I should mention that my old professor/boss had me do the submitted art for the cover of a journal one of our submitted papers was featured in. Super excited to see so many new people on here! I tend to be a little less active in the evenings unless I have posts to respond to (that’s often my WoW time :P) but hopefully will be able to get to know everyone and participate in all the neat plots that turn up :D

@Septiezal -- Dude, I love ANYONE who practices witchcraft. I don't myself, by my mom (not my real mom but the woman I love and know as my Mother) is Pagan/Wiccan and I love the whole vibe of Wicca. I've wanted to go full-out with it but when one side of your family is totally Christian, and you still live at home with your dad and no income of your own, going fully Wiccan is hard. Technically I'm what you would call an omnist (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omnism), which basically means I believe in many religions at once, but not necessarily ALL ASPECTS of all religions. And any religion that allows its believers to harm each other or themselves is out.

I wanna be an author full-time, in my heart of hearts, but in reality I would do any job that involved writing (like being a college professor or an editor or write for an online magazine or WHATEVER. I'm Java. I was once a Game Master on here (maybe I still am???). To anyone who doesn't know me, I'm one of Madison and CJ's frens. I'm 26, I work at a liquor store with a drive-through window, I went to art school at some point, and I have a fixation on anything that goes bump in the night (mostly serial killers).

I have a hard time controlling the tone of my voice in person so I offend a lot of people unintentionally. I don't doubt that extends to the world wide web, lmao. Don't take anything I say too seriously and we'll be frens! I'm hardly ever serious.

Mention any wolf-centered roleplaying site and I've probably been there, made a map, designed a bunch of adoptables, or done art for a player. Right now I live on Wolf-RPG but I'm trying to branch out (which is hard since I work RIDICULOUS HOURS GDI).

@Teyouma II - Things that go bump in the night are super rad! I'm also a bit obsessed with curious crimes/serial killers and I'd recommend the series "Murder With Friends" by the Channel "Pop Trigger" on Youtube!
In the show, they talk about serial killers or big american murderers and it's really good. First they introduce the crime, then they talk about the police investigation and, if the murderer hasn't been found to this day, they'll talk about the suspects and who they suspect as well.

They do a lot of other videos (like news, but in an interesting format, so it's worth checking out either way) too, but their MWF series is really interesting and well-researched :)

Most know to call me Sam, which is short for Samantha, and shorter for Sammy-Sam-Sam. I am a 25 year old digital artist, freelancer, tumblr trash, youtube subscriber, and roleplay/mmorpg hobbyist. Nothing seems to grab my attention more than witty RP, having fun, art, and breaking out into song.

In the communities I have been in, and am still part of, I play a large role in bringing positive energy into the space, moderation, organization, and getting people together for shenanigans. My roleplay style tends to lean more towards the mundane and non-combative, but we shall see what Origin Cave inspires.

My main method of contact is email or my preferred platform of choice: Discord. Some of my closest gaming friends recently migrated to Discord in lieu of Skype, and thus decided to go with them. And my phone screams at me when I get a new email. lol

I intend for Litty to be my only character here on this site.

Over the years, I had come to the realization that the more characters I made on a single site or MMO, the less fun I seemed to have. Getting to know one character really, really well and seeing them develop as they experience so many different things is a journey I truly enjoy. See, I am the kind of person who spends a month writing a 21 page Google Document entirely on my character's backstory and upbringing. Here on Origin I can't exactly do that, so starting with a blank slate is... odd and refreshing, I have to say. So, unless a great reason compels me otherwise, she will remain my one and only star. All the plots. All the threads. Thank gods for liquid time.
