I'm CJ! Some of you might know me and some of you might not. I've been here since Origin was created and know all the juicy secrets. We've got something super cool in the works right now. 8') I used to come and go but that was during trials of new SSRIs, which I just learned (on the 9th) that those only made me worse. So with a new direction in my medication I hope to be around much more now! I already can feel a change in my mood IRL and am awake much more throughout the day, so I am very hopeful 83
I live with my boyfriend Billy and our two cats Mako and Bolin. You might see me talk about them in the cbox, haha. I have a degree in IT/Networking and a lifetime cert for Active Directory (super impressive lol) but when I get more funds I hope to be able to tackle more of my certs. I went to a 2-year college also for Graphic Design and got a certificate of achievement for that but my main focus was IT/Networking.
Also if I'm not here but you need something, PM me because I check my phone a lot but in short bursts. I play a lot of games so it's not uncommon for me to be AFK and doing that, but if I check my phone and see a yellow notification at the top (the mobile version of the site) that's really easy for me to see quickly. 8') ((Your GM Requests show up there too but as a different notification ~))
Hey guys! My names Syd, I'm new here and right now I play Thomas the Elk (I'm already in the planning process of adding a new character hehe). I'm currently 17, but I'm turning 18 on the 25th of February so that's exciting. I'm currently in my final year of high school and I've been accepted into a college transfer program to become a veterinarian!
I'm a social butterfly so I'm almost always out with friends. I've learned to balance my time wisely, so I usually find time to check Origin and reply 3-4 times a day! I've been roleplaying since I was 10 or 11, so I have a couple years under my belt. I put a lot of thinking and time into my characters, so no two are alike at all. I'm really friendly and I love a good chat so please don't be afraid to send me a message or reply!
I'm not really sure what else to talk about? I'm currently saving up money to go to Disneyworld with my best friend in August and being successful in highschool and college are my only real interests and goals rn. I enjoy Teen Wolf, AHS, Supernatural, Turn, The Last Kingdom, TLK, HTTYD and various other movies and TV shows. c:

Hello, all! This thread hasn't been posted in for a while, but I figured I might as well use it for its intended purpose and give a brief introduction. I'm Felix, a seventeen-year-old (soon to be eighteen! I'm completely unprepared) living in the northeastern United States. I'm nonbinary and I prefer they/them pronouns, but she/her works too. I'm pansexual and neurodivergent (I have autism, along with depression and anxiety); the former isn't particularly relevant but the latter might be, as it negatively affects my ability to roleplay at times. But I'm working on it, and things have been better recently.
My school situation has been rather fractured, to say the least. Since sixth grade, I've tried: public middle school, being homeschooled by my grandmother (who was a teacher), homeschooling using a program that included a lot of books, spending half of my time at public school and the other half homeschooling, attending a self-directed learning center (that was four hours away from my home, and we had to drive there every week), online school, public high school, and finally a boarding school for autistic teens. I had the most success there out of everywhere else that I tried, but unfortunately I had to leave this past December because of failing mental health. Things have improved greatly since then, though, and I recently earned my GED; I'll be going back to that same school for a post-grad/college prep year, and after that I intend to move onto college! I'm not completely certain what I'll major in, but it'll likely be something in the realm of zoology. One of the colleges I'm looking at has an appealing Anthrozoology major!
I have several pets, namely three cats and a corn snake, though my family also has a horse and a dog. I love them with all of my heart and I wouldn’t give them up for the world.
My main interests are animals, Pokémon, Warriors, and Hatoful Boyfriend. I also love to read, especially sci-fi/fantasy and nonfiction about animals. Video games in general are swell, though I often start games but rarely finish them. Feel free to hit me up with book or game recommendations! There are many more things that I enjoy, but I won’t extend my introduction any further by listing all of them.
I’ve been roleplaying for about five years now, though I started with one-liners. Recently, I've been averaging around 500 words per post, but I’m not sure if that’ll remain true here. Even though the site’s not too active at the moment, I’m looking forward to finishing my character and jumping into the roleplay. I also look forward to meeting all of you around the site, and I apologize for the length of my not-so-brief-after-all introduction!

Whew, that sounds like quite the school adventure D: I also wanted to go into zoology but chickened out when it got to veterinarian type classes. :'( I completed school for something different instead. Good luck with your prep year, and beyond!! :D
Cats ;3; What are their names!? I also have three cats! They're the best (cats). One of them lives at home with my parents, though, he's an old man :'( He's been my best friend almost my whole life. Also, the only snake I've ever been bitten by was a corn snake - I felt so betrayed. I was told, "Oh, this is the nicest snake. They never bite. He's so sweet." ok and it bit my finger with its little needle teeth. 8'( I was shocked and upset and sad all at the same time, and so was my cousin who didn't know whether to laugh or do something about his snake latched onto my finger. I just wanted to hold small precious noodle child. But no ok. His bearded dragon became my best friend the rest of the day >8(!!
Do you play your games on the PC or a console? I've got a week or two before I can buy some new parts for my computer (my hard drive is seven years old haha///) so right now I've mostly been playing on the PS4. Also recently I've just started the Farseer series, which my boyfriend recommended to me as it was one of his favorite and also because of its animal connections (?) in the books. He didn't want to spoil a lot, haha. Have you read those!?

Oooohhh, it's awesome to see a new face around!! I've been a little scarce as of late, due to money troubles and sickness, but I'm hoping to get more active, especially when activity picks up. <3
Me, I'm autistic as well, Origin happens to be one of my special interests, although muse has been sputtering as I've been taking on other endeavors. Others include a game I'm making, Steven Universe, and opals. I'm bisexual and transgender (male pronouns)!
I also adore books about animals, scifi and fantasy being my favourite genre... though that's awfully niche, lmao. If I was to reccomend any book it would be Hunters Unlucky by Abigail Hilton, which is genuinely the best book I've read of its kind. It's set on a hidden island with its own species and sort of straddles the edge between science fiction and fantasy. I'm currently saving pennies to try and obtain a paperback copy for the illustrations(I read it on my kindle, but it's a lot harder to grasp without the art. Like... it has a map of the island and size charts for the wildlife).
I usually use a list on animal xenofiction on goodreads to find books to read, it has hundreds of books and having an animal's perspective is one of the requirements!
As for games, I generally play playstation as well. I'm always looking for games about animals too, but there aren't many of them. XD
My all time favourite is Okami, and at the moment I'm battling on with Horizon: Zero Dawn.
