Miller
Valentine

A solemn fern brushed against his large build, it seemed to wilt with terror. Her orangey eyes crinkled at their edges as he formed a well needed smile. His paws moved with quick movements brushing slightly against the thick vegetation. He made no sound, and moved quickly. This wolf was the height of a tiger, and knew it. He was a beastly creature, and he felt it run through his veins. He could sense a heart beat only a few meters away, and he closed it was just a simple bird, and he chose not to bother the poor creature.

He lifted his nose, and felt his gem in his ear sparkle in the light that was created above. He walked around a single plato of ferns before charging himself in, and plopping his body down. He felt his back peeking out of the leaves of the plants that he laid in, and he shifted himself with a slight movement to cover himself in the lush leaves of the room. It was his favorite room, and he always wanted to live here. He loved to let himself sleep under the dark fern leaves, and feel the soft dirt between his paws. Millers paws crossed, and he laid his head down. Feeling his stone droop down, his eyes closed softly, and he felt himself drift into slumber.

Miller's mind went into a world of fantasy as he imagined himself in a open forest.
"Where am I?!" Miller yelped it was a nightmare he fell into. Miller walked in a lush forest with dark trees he walked into a open space. There out of the fog a female appeared. White as snow, pure as silk. He watched her move effortlessly. She wore no stone, and knew nothing of him. She stumbled into Miller, and smiled laying a sloppy kiss on his cheek. He was shocked as she fell with a hole in her chest. He let out a gasp, and saw two beings appear out of the trees. He had no idea for what the were. They had strange faces, and stood on two legs. They walked wearing clothes, and had the hands of a primate. They held some long stick with a metal end to it. He looked terrified, and froze still. The beings took a look at him, and had a shocked look on their face.

Miller's eyes kept closed, yet he was disturbed. He couldn't open his eyes, and wake to see a forest full of tall trees, and light mist. He couldn't wake, and see the faces of the unknown beings. He would never wake up to see them. He knew he wouldn't, yet his eyes stayed sealed shut, and he drifted off again. Into a dreamless sleep, full of nothing.

The ground felt somewhat soft under his feet. Unusual, all things considered. He'd never seen so much of one colour in one room either - and certainly not green. But whatever. He didn't particularly care, he just felt more inclined to clean his legs and belly here.

He paused as he caught sight of a... thing. A grey thing lying around the green. Maybe more of a black, in some parts, but regardless. Quietly, he approached, eyes wide. Was it dead? No, it appeared to be breathing. What was it doing? ...sleeping?

The pup knew not to go near the thing while he was unsure what it was doing, or even if he was on it's territory - so he did the next best thing. Sit there in silence until the creature stirred.

Miller's ears shot up Her could feel someone nearby. He opened one eye to look through the leaves. He saw the pup, and his large ears. They sat rounded at the edges, and he had a friendly grin worn on his face. Miller sat up, and stared at the youngster. He sat tall, and felt himself loosen up, and forget his unwelcomed nightmare.

Miller let his vocals fill the silenced air with the words of, "So pupster, where'd you come from?" He felt his large body rumble, and looked down to his stomach, but returned his friendly glance to the young wild dog. He knew the species, and loved their large ears. It made him think of a mouse when he looked at them. Miller's tail felt around him, and made him feel cozy. His largeness made his stone feel small, and unappreciated.

Yet it was a beautiful piece, it was always there, and when light shone through it made blue light come out. He removed the smile from his face, and waited for his answer. He examined the pup's eyes, and looked for his stone. He was unable to see it while he sat in front of the young pup, and he wondered where it laid.

Eridanus, the place of greens. The lion brushed past the flora and fauna stoicly as he continued his trek through the area. It hadn't been long since his last visit with the Cetus group and this place - well, was much more pleasant than Cetus which had that awful, never-ending rain! Aquarian wasn't the cause of it so what was? With a disgruntled rumble, the lion continued to move swiftly through the area, pale green eyes flicking from one corner of the forest to the next and it was then that he saw two pups - one being a rather speckled grey and the other - wasn't he the dog who had been afraid of him? The older gembound chuckled and stalked closer to the two of them. Although he hadn't filled in his full build yet and was just barely the size of a lioness, the jade-eyed beast had grown more compact with muscle and sinew all in the right places. Not to mention random tufts of fur sprouting from his neck. A benevolent glimmer was in his eye as he stopped a short distance away from the two young un's and looked at them in turn. "Hey Bones," he greeted the pup whom he was familiar with, then looked at the wolf. "I'm Usui, what's your name young 'un?" he questioned gently with a swish of his feline tail.

There was a pause. Bones had no idea what a 'pupster' was or how it related to him. He decided to ignore this particular word as he lowered himself down onto his haunches with a sigh, briefly craning his neck down to lick his forelegs.

"Canis," came the pup's reply. He lifted his head to address the other canine he was talking to (and now that he thought about it, he hadn't seen another canine before. Unless a hyena counted) but he was quick to lower his head to lick his chest clean. Some white blotches on his legs and stomach were already stained pale green.

He was about to speak further before he jerked, looking up with wide eyes. "Oh--.. hello, Usui,"" he said. He wasn't displeased, in fact he was excited. He hadn't seen the lion in a while, and he still had questions about the gem he buried in Orion.

Miller's ears shot up Miller looked at the lion who had approached the couple of canines. He looked like he knew him, and he proved he knew at least one of them. Miller looked at the male as he asked his questions, and decided to respond with "Miller, the name is Miller." He probably sounded disrespectful, and yet her refused to care. Miller wore a nonchalant look on his grey face, and kept his body in the ferns. The wolf wore no colors like these two animals, and saw himself as a being with power. His back stayed straight, and he kept his vision on the lion who approached. He would be the largest threat.
