Tunnel B connects Polaris to Ursa, and is a relatively short tunnel but not necessarily an easy passage to navigate. It very quickly rises on each side, creating mountainous-like icy walls with a narrow path between them. It is cold and powdered with snow underfoot and slick with ice on the sides. The snow is continuously swept in from Ursa, but can be packed like ice in pockets on the main path. |
LOCATIONS
Polaris Entrance
A wide mouth opens up to Polaris, and often snow and ice reach beyond, billowing out on gusts of wind from Ursa. Its edges are crusted with ice. |
Ursa Entrance
Gusts bring snow through this entrance, and often the view beyond is obstructed by white winds. |
