Cetus is a large room, possibly the largest in this quadrant. It is known for its ever present mist, a thick, white, rolling cloud that never quite dissipates. This mist is so thick that near the ground, visibility is less than a foot. It becomes thinner the higher you are, but still remains no matter where in this room you may be. The sound of rushing water can be heard, but it seems to come from behind the walls. This room is populated with jutting crags and swamp; the cave floor, already damp, seems to give way to mud and black water only a couple meters in. The water gets deeper near the heart of the room, to the point that the cave floor can no longer be touched wading alone. Interspersed in the murky waters and on the crags are tall trees with bark hard as stone. |
LOCATIONS
The Groves
The trees are almost too tall to see their peaks. The water is black and murky, dangerous. |
The Crags
Near the South end of the room, rocks jut up to sudden points, creating a system of ridges and wet trenches. |
The Divine
A few acres of verdant, brightly lit land hide deep in the swamp. At their center stands a titanic, shattered tree whose roots look like writhing, screaming bodies. |
The Heart
The center of the room is a deep, mysterious marsh, filled with the sound of insects. |
