Oh no, he hated her, he hated her, he hated her! He was confused by her, he was nervous around her. Whimpering quietly and flattening her ears, she turned.

"I should go now," Alexi said quietly, trotting off. Nothing more, nothing less. She couldn't do this. Other Gembounds would hate her. Small tears rolled down her cheeks as she left behind someone who could have been a friend.
