Nemo is going to be emerging soon, most likely in the Monoceros room, and I was wondering if anyone wanted to be there for his "hatching" and acquire an almost instant friend?


High-key want to have someone here for that, because something I want for Nemo to deal with is that he refuses to fly, and the first few minutes of life can definitely show why that is. I'm going to bed, however, so I may not reply on the forum in a timely manner tonight, apologies!

Hey! I've got two characters I'd be down to offer for a thread?

Attikias is currently in Monoceros for the time being as he scavenges from the nearby tunnel, and could definitely be a positive influence on the young kid. He's got an interest in crafting and they could eventually end up bonding over colors? Otherwise, I have Desert who could show up since he's travelling for the quest event- he's got wings to fly with if you wanted a foil for that plot-line, and he's pretty interested in the new Gembound so far (since he's from a while ago). I could see them talking a bit, learning from each other, especially since Desert never really got a chance to even think for himself as a child. Or adult. Or now.

Desert may be better than Attikias if you want to go for a longer thread, honestly! Attikias doesn't have a lot to talk about since he's more of a hunter than conversationalist. Attik could end up teaching hunting, though, and I honestly see Attik more being one to take a friend than Desert. I'm down for either- my other characters are overall in other places, and I just feel bad about throwing Purity at the kid.

I've got Glory, as you know, who would definitely pick up some random kid he found lying around. He's loud, obnoxious, proud, and a very white-knight kinda guy. He's got a big forge (that he made himself, by the way, he's very proud of it) and might try and throw Nemo in the tornado in an effort to get him to fly, though he'll also be there to rescue him when he realizes he messed up.

I've also got Oleander if you want a, um, yandere following you around. I usually roll to see if she'll develop an obsession if you're comfortable with it. She's a sweetheart and very gentle and would probably try and be best friends with Nemo regardless bc she's just very likable.

As for more helpful gembound, Nameless and Wilder here are both very friendly and would help Nemo figure out what the heck is going on and what he should do, Wilder with more spirit, Nameless with more mom energy.

I feel like Nemo hatching with another winged Gembound nearby would be good, since someone is going to have to help this featherbrain for a little while. But he's definitely a creative and wandering soul, so he'll definitely run into @Attikias and squawk over colors for a while-

But @Glory would probably be the safest bet (for all involved) since I have some ideas about that tornado / twister there...

That sounds like a plan! We can do an Attik/Nemo thread later on in that case, after he gets everything checked out with Glory.
