Customs:
-Only creatures meant to be in water may enter the kingdom.
-The masters are not to be trusted within the kingdom, specifically Astraea. Though others may not follow this way of thinking, it is mandatory to distance yourself from the masters, unless those in the royalty ranks say otherwise.
-The waters of Fornax must be protected at all costs. Those who threaten the waters will face the wrath of the kingdom.
Creatures Allowed:
The only creatures allowed to be in The Sea Kingdom, is those who are meant to live in the water/or at least coexist with it. These types of creatures include seals, walruses, dolphins, octopus, polar bears, otters, beavers, and even Labrador retrievers due to their webbed paws. If it is meant to be in water, than it can join. Accepting creatures who are not meant to be in water defeats the purpose of the group's ideology, and the group itself.

Royalty~ ~ ~
Ruler of the Sea: This is not just a rank, but an important right that is given or inherited. They rule over those who dwell within the kingdom, and though others may put in their opinions and ideas, The Sea Ruler's word is law. The one with this role holds authority over all the kingdom, and it is their responsibility to distribute orders and help defend the kingdom. The Sea Ruler must demand loyalty from it's members, and reinforce boundaries against those who step out of line.
The Duke or The Duchess: This rank is the sea creature that is second in command. For stability, this creature has just as much a say as the Ruler of the Sea does. But it is the Ruler of the Sea who makes the final decision. 1 gembound may occupy this position.
The Sacred Council: When important matters arise, though The Sea Ruler may have the final say, but it is highly recommended that he or she seeks advice and guidance from the council. The Council's purpose is to help The Sea Ruler make decisions which are vital to the kingdom. 3 gembounds may occupy this position.
Workers~ ~ ~
Hunters of the Sea: A hunter that helps feed the kingdom. They also keep track of prey activity in the waters as well as keep note on the prey on land that come in/near the waters. There is no limit on how many gembounds can occupy this position.
Healers of the water: These water creatures are those who try to heal the sick of the kingdom. They also make sure that the waters of Fornax are clean, safe, and well protected. There is no limit on how many gembounds can occupy this position.
Warriors of the Sea: These are fierce sea creatures who defend the sea should anyone dare threaten the kingdom, or its waters. They spar to hone their skills whether it's physical combat or magic. They must be willing to help defend the kingdom and its members. Though those of other ranks are free to defend the kingdom, the Warriors of the Sea must be the first to respond. There is no limit on how many gembounds can occupy this position.
Researchers of the water: These creatures are tasked with finding out the secrets, history and lore that lays beneath the water. There are many secrets on land, but these creatures must focus on finding secrets beneath the sea. Those with arcane magic or the hindsight spell may take on this rank. There is no limit on how many gembounds can occupy this position.
The Damned
Those Casted Away: Just like the shore casting things far, far away. If someone has wronged the kingdom on a enormous level, then the kingdom will literally wash their paws of the individual. They will be banished from the Kingdom of Sea, never to return again. Gembounds in this category, better be especially careful when in Fornax. There is no limit on how many gembounds can occupy this position.
Ways of the Kingdom
Importance of water~ A big aspect of the group and the main reason for its formation is the importance for water. This is why they are known as those who dwell beneath the sea. It is frowned upon to speak ill of the water sources within the caves, but it is allowed. Water is the kingdom's home, and a source of life for the caves. The water holds a mystical magic to it.
Diplomacy~ When meeting others, gembounds must understand that they are representing their kingdom. That means acting in a way that reflects the kingdom in a positive way.
Strength~ Gembounds in the kingdom must know and respect the strength of the kingdom. Loyalty is also important, for once you swear your loyalty to The Sea Kingdom, you cannot look back. Weakness is something that is looked down upon. Members are expected to be as strong as the mighty waves that Fornax can produce.
Grace~ Though not required, it is highly appreciated for members to show grace in the water, especially meeting strangers outside of the kingdom as they are in water.
