North-East Quadrant — Cepheus

Cepheus is known as the Room of Kings, fit with a palace and expansive garden. The palace grounds are guarded by Isra, a lion-like valkhound with snake tails. The majority of the palace is built with foreign alabaster stone and has varying ornate features, including tiled floors, plush pillows, and a courtyard at the center with potted trees, walkways, and narrow pools of water. Beyond the palace is the gardens. Elsewhere, the room is mostly empty with grassy fields, short trees, and worn trails. Near the Tunnel F entrance is a raised hill, with an ever-blooming tree creating a perpetual blanket of petals at the top. This room is strangely dim, with black crystals lining its ceiling that cast the room in Voidlight. It is weakest near the cave lights and lights of the palace, and strongest in the shadows.
LOCATIONS

The Palace
Perhaps the most architecturally advanced building in the entire cave system, the Palace is mostly open for visitors but some rooms remained magically locked.
The Crystal Gardens
The gardens of the Palace boast water features, crystal sculptures, and varying plants. It has many places to sit and enjoy a snack, relax, or simply admire the view.
Grassy Knoll
A raised, grassy hill with a single blossoming tree at the top; the tree is always full with sweet white flowers.
The Gentle River
This narrow river curves through Cepheus; it is shallow and easy to pass through.

"Over/Seen!"

A new show is now showing in the Palace Cinema! A new episode airs each Tuesday and will play repeatedly throughout the week. Each episode begins with a loud and cheerful theme song, and short clips of a number of characters with their names shown beneath. A silly set of lyrics sings along about how this group is OVERSEEN, OVERSEEN, BUT EACH WONDERS, ARE THEY SEEN? and so on. It seems to be very loosely based upon Origin Cave's structuring, with an overarching story about development of an underground nest of Chaos, and the appropriate propaganda; but individual episodes focus on the relationships and mishaps of the show's characters.

The characters will be gradually introduced, but are named in the title credits as follows: Master Solerus, Master Moethan, Master Salicara, Overseer Bathwin, Overseer Nothilus, Fillian, Kragrak, Helly, Lorilus, and Vostilor.

Episode One

The pilot! As the theatre lights go down and after the title has played, we are introduced to a fretting Overseer Bathwin: a big, purple-black brute of a Valkhound. His workers are gathered before him: a fox-centaur Valkhound named Fillian; a muscled black, feline creature named Kragrak; a Valkhound that sort of looks like a cross between a monster and a flower, named Helly; a lanky brown, purple and grey six-legged beast with plated skin--Lorilus; and a swift creature with a serpentine build but a grey-purple humanoid upper body and flowing silver hair, named Vostilor. Baldwin explains (with obvious exposition for the audience) to his workers that they've been tasked with preparing three new caves for the Nest. Each is given their new responsibilities.

Fillian is to fine-tune the architecture, Kragrak must keep them save and arrange patrols and hunts, Helly must prepare foliage and plant life, Lorilus must prepare special areas for testing creations, and Vostilor has to arrange the flow of water through these caves.

There's an immediate comic misunderstanding about the orders which turns into argument, and just as things become completely chaotic we are introduced to Overseer Nothilus, a snivelling caricature of a spider-like creature who walks in, then sneeringly insists he has to 'go report this' chaos to the Masters. Nothilus is depicted as doing nothing except tattling, so he's a coward and a loser, obviously! As he leaves, Bathwin and the others quickly get to work, brilliantly helping each other solve their own problems with Teamwork™.

Nothilus returns near the end of the episode with Master Solerus in tow: a creature of Chaos, humanoid and tall and flaring with rainbow light.

In a comedic twist, the group has already finished a lot of hasty work, making Nothilus look bad in front of Master Solerus! As Kragrak mutters under his breath: "get absolutely wrecked."

The show ends with Over Bathwin praising his group after the Master and other Overseer have departed, and promising that although they have done well, they are only just getting started.

As the episode ends, the lights come up, the credits music playing.

Characters are free to be posted here or in other threads as watching the show..
