Dye and Ingredients

Below are dye colors available for your character to utilize, and the ingredients they may need. Regular dye colors may only need 1 ingredient, whereas Special dye colors may need up to 3 ingredients, which sometimes may be a spell attempt. Unless otherwise noted, a spell attempt only needs to be Barely Successful or higher to positively affect the dye.

A dye applied to a surface is temporary until affixed permanently with the spell Affix Dye. Dyes can be used on any surface and can be applied to characters in patterns or as blotches. More dye will be needed depending on the size of the surface area.

Note: The Glow Effect dye is created using baubled items. Any surface or dye that utilizes this will lose its glowing effect if the creator of the baubled items dies.

You do not need to Request GM to find ingredients or make dye, just successful rolls and any extra conditions a Special Dye may require (such as spellcasts or unique items).

If you are interested in having your character discover a new dye, run it through one of our GMs first with possible effects and ingredients so we can give it the green light and add it to our list!

Download the empty bottle .psd here.

- Keep 'satin' effect on bottle, but feel free to play with other effects.
- Save without gray bg / as transparent .png

Character Inventory

Keep track of your character's dye or ingredients using the Character Inventory. Feel free to place any other items your character may have in this field as well. You are welcome to create your own images or pixel icons to use within the inventory field, and if you would like to share your icons, let us know and we can add them to the Smilie list!

Dye and their ingredients utilize the Smilies feature of MyBB. Below are the available Smilies and names for dye and ingredients:
