Ever since the meeting with the lizard freak, German had made it his goal to improve the magic that flowed within him. He felt the most adrenaline near the heart, and came to the conclusion that the gemstone that he possessed must have been close to it. The little mink kept within the caves, protected by the dangers of the outside world and slowly gaining better at catching the small crickets and the occasional mouse that fell prey to his deadly teeth and fangs. Exploring the caves continued as he kept going deeper and into more smaller holes, but soon, German found himself in front of a couple pools of water. Why he hadn't come across this before was a mystery, considering he had kept himself hydrated through any drops of water he could find among the caves. Immediately, he ran towards the water and dove in, small enough for it to act as a large pool. Happy as he could be, the mink twirled and twisted around for what seemed like an hour (but was only for a few minutes).

Feeling content, the foreigner of the land climbed out and shook himself as dry as he could. It was just then that his head snapped around to the sound of a small squeak - a mouse. Right there! In front of him! No good opportunity should be wasted, and immediately he drew forward towards the mouse at the fastest speed his little legs could carry him. But the rodent was much quicker and dashed towards a hole that even his lithe body couldn't penetrate. With as much enthusiasm as he could muster, the boy slid to a stop and immediately wavered his tail, attempting to draw power from his body. He remembered learning it just a little bit with the large snake-like creature about a week ago. Would it work? Feeling the surge rush through his body, he whipped around to see if he could whip up enough energy to place a charge upon a piece of small brush that was covering half the hole the mouse was aiming for, hoping it'd bounce back and shock the critter to at least paralyze it.

----

The charge of electricity managed to be infused with the small brush, and as the mouse attempted to dash by, it sent out a shock towards it, stunning the poor beast for a moment. "Oh... I... I DID IT! AHAHA, TAKE THAT YOU LITTLE RODENT" So happy as can be for his fist alone successful magic trick, the boy spun around in a circle and danced about at his achievement to not realize that a small little stun wouldn't stop the mouse forever. It was then that the mouse had recovered and dove in, leaving German wide mouthed and shocked (pun intended) at his stupidity. "WHAT!?! NOOOOOOOOOOO!" He cried out in a bit of misery and anger, dashing towards the hole and sticking his nose right into it before he felt a surge of shock on his left side. "OUCH!!" He pulled back quickly and curled into a small ball. The little plant was still a little on "Fire" with it's electricity, but soon died down.

The little kitten was seated at the All Mother's side as was usual for her. Her head was bowed with eyes closed as she prayed. She prayed for everything. The well-being of Brother Booker, the well-being of her sisters, even the well-being of the dragon who didn't seem to care for the All Mother. However, that was alright for the All Mother cared for him. He would come to realize it in time.

The cat continued to pray for hours and hours before her stomach began to rumble. It disturbed her from her meditation. "Is that a sign that I should stop, All Mother?" Her eyes opened as she peered up lovingly at the giant mushroom. Every day when she meditated for hours she always received the signal of the rumbling stomach when it was time to stop. Once in the morning and once at night... or so she imagined.

The cat dipped her head respectfully at the Mother before turning and padding away towards the Eyes. There were usually fish there and while the kitten could easily catch a mouse she much preferred the taste of fish. Besides, it made her feel closer to the All Mother when she ate food straight from her Eyes. Perhaps it would even allow her to See.

As she neared the pools she heard the sound of another. It was a loud, masculine voice that she immediately knew wasn't her sister. It even sounded like a cry of distress! Oh no! The cat trotted ahead and quickly closed the distance between her and a white creature. It had a long body with purple eyes. Certainly not a Seer like she and her siblings nor a Guardian of the Garden.

Blackfeather's eyes shone with concern as she eyed the other creature. "Brother... Brother! Are you alright? May I offer you any assistance?" Perhaps the All Mother had sent her away at this point just so she could help this other child.

Groaning in agony of losing his kill, German sulked back up onto his feet and growled in anger. But the silence among the caves soon came to an end as he heard a feminine voice, calling towards him and offering him aid. Immediately, the young boy scurried into the nearby pool of water and swam to the other side, the hairs upon his whole body standing up as he tried to look menacing towards this new stranger. Finally able to look more closely at the one who interrupted his hunting, he would examine her closely - emerald orbs. Accompanying them was an X-shaped gemstone right above her noise, and her hairs were of a light grey and white. She seemed harmless enough, but the boy didn't know her and took all new strangers as enemies until proven otherwise.

"Humfph. I'm not your brother!" he called out rudely, splashing the water angrily with his small little paw. "Go away! I'm fine!" German lied, his body still in a bit of shock from electrocuting himself. Whoever this .. thing was, he was in no mood to talk to it, and wanted to just eat some food. It was hard living with no help for catching food, and difficult to learn to hunt without someone to teach him. Cocking his head sideways at a rapid speed, he stepped halfway back into the water, attempting to unfold this strange creature. She didn't seem like someone to injure him, but there was something that told him that she could be an incredible predatory. "Wh-What are you?" he asked in a more calmed tone, curiosity now taking over.
