Child Name: Cloudberry
Gender: TBD
Species: Moose/Goose/Magpie
Appearance: Smaller then their life giving parent, Cloudberry still has their general body shape. Thick-set and moose-like, with a mane of spiky, quill-like feathers on the back of their neck. Their head is broad with a moderate sized muzzle that is a little more pointed then Huckleberry's. Their front legs have been replaced by a pair of black wings that can be used to prop themselves up, with three claws on the end. When extended, they show off an array of beautiful iridescent blue feathers with white patches, matching the coloration of their fur. Their back legs are thin but muscular and ending in a pair of strong, sturdy hooves. Attatched to their shoulders are a pair of brown and cream wings that seem to be an extension of the quills along their back. They have a small feathered tail, much like a bird, but considerably smaller.

This conception was Successful! The litter will emerge September 11th.

Huckleberry will not be able to conceive again until November 11th.

Now that the conception is successful, I'll be adopting out Cloudberry! Since they'll be hatched to Huckleberry, they will at least start part of the Bloodberries. I have some plotting ideas between Blackberry, Huckleberry, and Cloudberry if you'd be okay with that, since Cloudberry has the potential to be a pretty important character between them!

Stone location: Set in his throat, halfway under the skin
Gender: Male
Personality: Cloudberry has been raised be to be a bloodthirsty creature from the moment he would emerge. A blind, violent loyalty to his family leads his actions. Violent, always itching for a fight, for the adrenaline that would course through his veins and the wounds he inflicts on others. Power thirsty, wanting to feel strong against other creatures; even better if they're bigger than he is. Unrelentless in battle; he'll either win, or he'll fight until he can't move anymore. Prideful, not wanting to give up any fights, even if it means risking his own life on more than one occasion. Despite his violence, Cloudberry does care for his family. He would want to protect them no matter what, even if it means throwing himself into battle after battle. It makes him reckless, but no more than he would usually be. To Cloudberry, a world like this can only be survived by fighting and making sure nothing takes him down first.

What do you have in mind to do with this character? (optional, I'm just curious): Maybe have him find out about why Huckleberry gave him up and be kind of resentful? I definately want him to be really loyal to Blackberry and kind of follow her blindly? Maybe try and prove himself since Blackberry keeps such a close eye on Huckleberry and he doesn't want to be like that.

Personality:
Cloudberry is a master of keeping composed. Xe is distant from others, curious but icy, appearing like xe never truly wants to get involved or connect with anything.

This is all a facade, however. Underneath the perfect calm is a hailstorm of unexpressed emotions. You see, although Cloudberry can feel them, xe cannot actually express any emotions besides happiness and calm, and even then, the happiness is dull and distant, jubilant excitement merely represented as a polite smile and a flick of the tail. Xe is forever frustrated with xirself for being unable to express anything, ever, and will go to great lengths to try to get themselves to express something, from self-harm to murder.

This problem is further compounded by the fact that, underneath, xe has much the same personality as Apple once did. Underneath the haze of fake emotions and reactions that look all too real, xe is really just a fun-loving extrovert who'd love to make people laugh and smile, if only xe knew how.

As nothing else in the caves has this problem, xe views others as separate from xir. Other Gembounds are not people to xir, they're just there for xir to desperately try to interact properly with. As such, xe has no problem doing a complete 180 from xir true personality and being horrible to another, up to and including murder.
Writing Sample (with the character):

Cloudberry looked down at Huckleberry, examining them with a tilted head. Inside, xe was delighted- no, thrilled to finally meet xir real parent. Xe had been waiting for this moment ever since xe had first heard about them from Blackberry. Doubt bubbled up for a moment- what if Blackberry's scalding words were true?- but xe brushed them aside. Xe had worked for far too long to get to this moment.

Xe could definitely see the resemblance- the same hooves, similar wings- and it thrilled xir all the more. When they opened their mouth to speak, however, only a calm, impassive tone of "So you're my parent?" came through, betraying none of their thoughts towards them.

Xe could've cried- would've attempted to hide watery eyes, were it not for the fact that there were none to be had in the first place. Xe was so, so close to finally building a real, motherly bond with this Gembound, as it should've been, and their disability could ruin it. Rage filled them, but outside, Cloudberry merely took a neutral stance and waited for Huckleberry to respond.

What do you have in mind to do with this character? (optional, I'm just curious): I'm planning for xir to definitely be a wrench in the relationship between Huckleberry and Blackberry- although xe's definitely of the right material to be a part of the Bloodberries, it isn't certain whether or not xe'll want to stay in them. Other than that, we'll see how it goes!

Edit: Just read back in chat a bit- yeah, I wouldn't mind having Cloudberry being loyal to the Bloodberries! Xe'll certainly be of the right material to stick with them!

I still have to finish their art, but I have a rough sketch here (very rough) so if you need help writing their appearance section, just ask me for clarification or you can put in your own ideas!
