Arcane is a type of elemental magic found in Origin Cave. This mind-focused element allows the user to “reach into the esoteric depth of being and withdraw unearthly will, lest the unknown consume you.” 1)

Arcane-based spells tend to be focused on less tangible, but still powerful, methods and results akin to fortune-telling and psychokinetic powers. The ability to move objects with the mind, to listen to anothers' thoughts or even visit their dreams, and to view both past and future are all in the realm of the Arcane. Arcane has no Offensive or Defensive spells, instead relying on Manipulation- and Detection-type spells to round out its toolset.
The Arcane element deals not in a tangible force nor the environment, but the user themselves. It focuses on the power of the mind and allows its users to see far along the most obscure of dimensions. Many who practice this element find themselves understanding and solving problems with ease, wielding the ethereal access to otherworldly information. They can project their mental powers into their environment or towards targets, and have the power to predict or even witness events as they have happened or will unfold. Too much dabbling in this magic, and a user may lose themselves in the boundless knowledge of the unknown. 3)
Budge - Low Intensity Manipulation. With the power of the mind, the user can move small objects short distances. This spell is only powerful enough to move objects a couple inches.
Whisper - Low Intensity Manipulation. By throwing their voice, the user can create the illusion of sound coming from somewhere other than them. However, the resulting sound may be garbled or inaudible, and come off as an incomprehensible whisper.
Hindsight - Low Intensity Detection. A single touch of an object can bring the user fleeting memories attached to the object. More experienced users can experience intact memories, while novices may catch only shadows or faint sounds.
Telekinesis - Medium Intensity Manipulation. The user can move objects within their own vicinity. They must maintain constant visual contact with the object they are moving, but powerful users can lift and throw anything they can see, including non-users.
Telepathy - Medium Intensity Manipulation. A concentrated message can be embedded in the mind of the target, delivering secrets unheard by anybody else in the room.
Pause - Medium Intensity Detection. Time around the user is slowed drastically for up to 10 seconds. While everything in the vicnity, including the user's body, is frozen, the user's mind is unrestrained.
Translocate - Medium Intensity Manipulation. The user rearranges reality, translocating two objects. They may use this to instantly exchange the position in space of any two similarly-sized (in volume, not mass) physical objects, not including living things. This is instant, but fairly draining, and runs the risk of embedding one or both target objects partly in the ground below, necessitating another translocation or physical excavation. Overuse in a short period of time may cause the object to become unstable, potentially weakening structurally.
Phantom Hold - High Intensity Manipulation. High Intensity Manipulation. Objects outside of the user's range of vision can be manipulated at their whim. Objects can be moved for as long as the user can concentrate on them and knows generally where they are. Losing track of an object severs their ability to control it.
Mind Reader - High Intensity Manipulation. The user can coherently speak to a target and receive their thoughts. Novice users can only do this with targets they can see, but experienced users can maintain communication with a target over a greater distance.
Future Shift - High Intensity Detection. The user receives a vision of all possible outcomes of an action. They might not understand the context of what they see, only knowing that it is a fleeting glimpse of the future. Masters of this spell can see into the future and act accordingly within a matter of seconds.
