• Focuses on health and athleticism, especially endurance. Can often be seen running laps around the cave or engaging in what could only be described as parkour.
• Generally sees himself as a guardian, actively tries to be vigilant against potential threats to the cave's inhabitants.
• Absolutely rubbish at magic, for the longest time was under the impression that he couldn't use it at all
  • When he does use magic he actually blacks out as the part of his brain responsible for its control was cut off by neurotoxin at a young age. His mind is slowly trying to repair itself but so far the only spells he can use without blacking out are Eternal Wing and Fabulous Banana
• Whenever Xireidi blacks out due to magic use a second personality takes hold, one matching how he was before the exposure to neurotoxin in his youth. This personality is much more selfish and sadistic, but luckily has little to no control over the body's basic motor function without the help of certain types of magic.
  • Upon returning to consciousness Xireidi remembers the actions taken in much the same way as trying to remember a dream, with his mind trying to fill in the gaps with logical rationale as to why he would have acted that way.

• Xireidi's original self emerges, accidentally exposes self to a powerful neurotoxin, and permanently damages his nervous system, resulting in a drastic personality change and total memory loss. Runs into Kin-Kin as he tries to piece together who he is, making up his new name in the process. Thread
• Now almost a full Cycle old Xireidi has spent considerable time in Orion adapting to life. After hearing another crack he encounters another newborn, this time a patagonian cavy named Gratia. Xireidi decides to try to help out as best he can and ultimately decides to watch over the newborn until she is no longer in danger of being mistaken for prey. Thread
• During cycles 2-4 Gratia goes missing and Xireidi spends a great amount of time trying to find her again. Heartbroken at the likely possibly being dead at this point he retreats into his chrysalis.
• An encounter between Xireidi and Yuma, where Yuma adopts the role of an antagonist, playfully implies that they may have killed Gratia, and accidentally fortifies the wolf's belief in an eldritch evil of void and flame. Unknown other self is nowhere to be heard or felt Thread
• With the lights in the caves extinguished Xireidi has become emaciated from lack of food. Encounters Kyorai who gives encouragement in otherwise bleak times. Sets up a tiny den in the edge of Polaris. Thread
• The lights come back on, apparently by the work of a cat fairy named Nimean. Volunteers to find Batcat to return the favor. Thread
• Runs into Amras, who is practicing fire magic. The two agree to a friendly duel of might vs magic. Amras wins and agrees to help Xireidi with his own magic, which has been locked away for most of his life at this point. Thread
• Xireidi joins in an effort to stop a giant spider from attacking the Spire, during which time he gets hit by pure magic ichor. This has the effect of revitalizing his magic and awakening the locked-away second personality. Thread
• The Batcat hunting party gathers in Orion and tracks down not one but a whole swarm of batcats! Xireidi beats one down, breaking a wall in the process, and flees back to Nimean. Thread
• Xireidi returns the batcat only to be scolded by Nimean who kills the creature violently and takes the lights away again, showing her true nature. Thread
• A new batcat search party forms in Monoceros and meets before spreading out to start the hunt Thread
• Xireidi pledges loyalty to Alnilam by gathering yellow stones, and is granted an illusionary wings spell in return. Thread
• The new search party, plus an extra member that joined, happen upon the real Batcat. Xireidi's original self forfeits his name and takes up the title of Leikari. Thread
• Upon returning the real Batcat Nimean is swept away, leaving behind a strange orb that causes pain upon touching it. Xireidi offers his cave as a safe hiding spot to keep this potentially dangerous artifact out of the evil creature's possession. Thread
