Makyna seemed delighted to see him, and he took a moment to press gently into her affections before finally taking a moment to take note of who was present- new and familiar alike. Oh, Amaria WAS there! He grinned towards her, almost timidly- had she figured it out yet, what had happened? He'd carefully sidestepped run-ins with the leopard since the incident. Did she still forgive him? He'd just smile and not say anything for now. Yeah. His eyes turned to Bevy- and then to her new friend. He gave Bevy a questioning look, as if to ask who he was, then turned his attention to Leon as he entered. The bear's choice forced a rather smug sneer onto the leopard teen's face. I got your girl, didn't I bear? Serves you right for scarring her, and disrespecting me. He managed not to convey such thoughts as he glanced back to Makyna. Oh right, they were playing a game. It was her turn to pick someone, and he grinned when she spun his Choosing Stone.

A wolf- Majesty- was first. Some admission of sniffing another gembound's butt to vigorously. The cat shrugged it off- it wasn't funny, it was just unfortunate, but then, he supposed that was the point. The wolf turned its sights on a deer next, and he glanced over to see what would come of it. Vazi, huh? Alright then. What happened next made the panther grin like the Cheshire cat himself. The twirling specimen of hooves and legs was a sight to behold, but even more so was the end result- the deer indeed caught his tail. The cat purred in approval and amusement. Then, it was his turn. Oh, wait, what?

"Dare." The word was out of his mouth before he could rethink the decison. Truth left him open to what really mattered, though- his secrets. His theories. His personal feelings. Dare left him open to a chance of showing up the bear. He'd do anything for a chance at that.

VAZI HASIRA
"shattered innocence"

Before the male leopard could answer his lamb buddy bounced up to him. The young fawn laughed happily and nuzzled the top of the lamb's head fondly. "I did! I am actually surprised at my new talent!" He said with a bright smile and giggle. Because tail catching was such a useful talent for a deer. Then his ears tilted towards the leopard as he answered. Without his name but that was fine.

A dare, eh? Well, what sort of dare? The young fawn's eyes rolled upwards as he tried to think of something to make the leopard do. Should he have him impersonate a deer? That would be funny. He would have to eat grass and bleat and do a lot of silly things that a leopard shouldn't do. Then, another idea came to him. What about a song? Yes. A song and a dance! That would be funny! A grin broke onto the fawn's face as he settled on his dare. "Alright, sir, I would like it if you sang all of us a funny song." He turned to take his leave but paused. "Oh! I would also like if you gave us a funny dance with this song." Then he gave his lamb friend a gentle prod with his head, careful of the antlers, and then took his place back next to his friend Arkrael. This should certainly be amusing.

"Talking looks like this."
Thinking looks like this...
The Song He Sings

Cancer wore that smug expression right up until the deer said Sing. Then, that grin dropped into a look of stone-cold terror. Sing? He'd never done that before. Could he even sing? He didn't know any songs! Oh, but he was clever, wasn't he? Yes! He could figure something out. So, without missing another beat, the cat gave a very, very heavy sigh, slipped easily backwards out of his armor (setting it carefully beside Makyna to guard it and it's valuable contents) then stepped into the middle of the crowd. He'd might as well make a show of it.

"Never sang before. Might make your ears bleed. Just um... scream if you want me to stop. Blame the deer. Okay." He looked to Leon for this, with the most devilish smirk he could muster despite his nerves. The sound that bellowed out from the cat's through next was... surprisingly decent! The cat had a voice, and while it wasn't soothing or sweet, it was powerful and not half bad on the ears.

"It's not easy having yourself a good time...!"

He slid right up to the bear with that clever grace and pushed his boundaries with a face to face, grinning as he sang.

"Greasin' up those bets and betters,
Watching out they don't four letter,"

He sat upright and counted quickly on his front paw one-two-three-four as he sang, bouncing to the beat in his head.

"Beat and pet you both at the same time...!"

He swiped the air about the bear's head as he spun away, and stopped suddenly with that same paw stretched out almost as if to caress the bear gently- from afar, of course. He continued a bouncing walk backwards towards the deer.

"Smell's like something I've forgotten,"

He leaned up beside the deer, pinching his nose with one hand, while waving the other comically.

"Curled up, died and now it's rotten!"

Cancer leapt away to continue the song with a more dramatic stance, on his knees in a way, in front of Leon again.

"I'm not a gangster tonight!
Don't want to be the bad guy!
I'm just a lover, baby,
And now you've got in my way!"

He leapt back suddenly and landed smoothly, then sat upright again with bouncing back legs- he was getting into it.

"I can't decide,
Whether you should live or die
Oh, you'll probably go to heaven,"

His face became pleading, then the same expression was turn to Makyna.

"Please don't hang your head and cry,"

Then away again, a monologue now.

"Now wonder why,
My heart feels dead inside!"

He sat back, paws on his chest, mournful look on his face.

"It's Cold and Hard and Petrified!"

A wicked smile took it's place and he whirled around to Leon again, getting up in his face one last time with a wide grin and this time, paws on the bear's shoulders.

"Dim the lights and go inside,
We're going for a ride!"

He leapt away for the big finale, twirling in the center, his attention on Leon with a sadistic grin the whole time. This was for him.

"Oh, I could throw you in the lake,
Or feed you poison fresh fish cake,
I won't deny, I'm gonna miss you when you're gone!
Or I could bury you alive,
But you might crawl out with a knife and kill me,
While I'm sleeping
That's why!"

Final chorus, he took a walk around the crowd with a strut, coming back around to Leon for the final line...

"I can't decide,
Whether you should live or die,
Oh you'll probably go to Heaven,
Please don't hang your head and cry
No wonder why
My heart feels dead inside,
It's cold and hard and petrified
Dim the lights and go inside,

We're going for a ride."

Panting, he stepped back before the bear could take a swing at him, and with a grin plastered on his smug and winded face, the cat felt very, very satisfied. He'd sung well, despite never having tried before. The song was clever, and catchy. He felt good about how that'd gone. He only hoped people could be good sports about the sensitive wording- not everyone was used to his attitude. The cat turned to get the okay from the deer, then returned to Makyna's side. There, he slid the jewel under his paw and spun.

The crystal landed on Leon, and the cat slowly looked up with the look of a devil in his eyes, and the shit-eating grin that said it all. "You're up, bear boy. Truth, or dare." He was gonna love this.

HELLO I JUST WANT TO APOLOGIZE FOR BREAKING THE GAME SLIGHTLY
please carry on without Leon, he's just a miserable grump :') also, language warning because Leon swears ;>;

There felt an estranged distance between himself and those he had called his friends. Whatever it was brewing in him, he didn't know if it was his own, or someone else's. It had made him feel so strange. It pushed him through an entire whirlwind of emotions. There had been happiness and joy, and when he felt it, it was powerful. There was belonging. And then there was dismay and grief and shame, and finally that feeling of unbelonging, and it was just as powerful. He was cursed to feel these things even if he wasn't the originator of them, and when they arose in him, they grew and swelled until they overtook his entirety. It was easy for him to be consumed by his feelings, and that had become clear when he caught Makyna's eye and noticed the injury he'd caused in not sitting with her - and then the bear was left to wallow in guilt while she moved on.

Vazi had greeted him, but Leon had barely noticed the other deer's words. As much as he attempted to shrug away the feelings by sitting with somebody else, they invaded his mental space anyways. Leon diverted his eyes and let his shoulders slump. He'd been intrigued by the prospect of a game, but now it just felt tortuous to have to sit here and watch everybody else have fun while he struggled with his emotions. He barely paid attention to the goings on of the game; when Makyna had gone first, he did flick his eyes up briefly, only to look away again. Majesty accepted a truth, then Vazi a dare, and then Cancer a dare. Leon had been content to sit by himself and observe, but apparently the leopard would have none of that.

He belted out a song, and right away had come sauntering up to Leon, shoving his stupid cat face in his. The bear withdrew, curling a lip at the feline's antics. Leon couldn't help but listen to the song, he sang it so loud - why a song? More over, why did Cancer have to shove it all in his face? He seemed to go around to a few others in the circle, but time and time again returned to Leon. His slowly growing frown betrayed his mounting fury. That guilt and sadness was quick to ignite into something more powerful, he'd learn soon enough, until Cancer decided to tempt fate and launch his paws onto his shoulders. At that point, Leon grunted and curled his lips back, revealing a full set of gleaming teeth. A low rumble had brewed in his chest, and heat began to ease its way from between his teeth - he couldn't help the arm that began to crank back, starving to slap the cat face out of his own. Slowly rising onto his hind legs, Leon felt himself commanded by his rage - he lunged forward at Cancer, snapping his teeth loudly, but the leopard had already backed away.

Leon's front paws landed with a thud back on the ground. That snarl seemed permanently embedded on his face, watching as Cancer sauntered back, spun the crystal, and by some cruel twist of fate, landed on him. But no. Leon had had enough of this. "Eat shit, Cancer."

The words had come from his lips without any prior intent. Eyes widened, startled by the ferocity with which he'd responded - and then his brows furrowed once more, and he whirled away from the group. Embarrassment and anger drove him away. It burned in him, through his skin, through his stinging eyes, his furiously beating heart. Had he been more sound of mind, he would have shot a poisonous thought at Makyna, but the bear couldn't even articulate that. His brain was a mess of fuzzy and fast thoughts, clamoring for attention. He galloped away, only trying to focus on getting as far away from the group as possible.

exit Leon ;>;
... And then, suddenly, the game stopped being fun. Wynry wasn't sure how it happened-- the song was funny, the cat was funny, and in all the lamb's innocence he hadn't seen the ill intent behind it (the darkness of the lyrics hadn't gotten to the lamb, who only saw the happy dance and cheery tune) until the crystal turned all eyes on to the big old bear who... Who seemed so angry.

"What's wrong--" He bleated, just a moment too late. The giant gembound was off like a lumbering sack of bricks and... With a worried expression he looked around at everyone else, his eyes finally falling on Cancer. Had he done something to hurt the bear? That went directly against the rules! If only Wynry knew just what had upset the big guy, maybe he could have done something to stop it.

But Wynry knew the game would fall apart if he let this little spat get out of hand. So quickly, using his smarts, the lamb put on a bright smile and nervously shouted, "I guess he didn't want to play! That's alright. How about you spin again, mister?" He looked around at the group, afraid that his game might fall apart. He would probably ball his big blue eyes out if that happened, and no one wanted that.

Right? No one was going to make this poor innocent lamb CRY, were they?!
Cancer was kinda expecting the harsh response at first, but at the end, Leon threw an absolute fit! The cat paused in his saunter, and watched with wide eyes as the bear huffed, cursed him, and walked out. For a moment, he wanted to defend himself, to talk shit about the bear after he'd left... but that didn't feel right. He sank back on his haunches, looking baffled and defeated. He'd figured the bear would've at least put up a fight first. He'd done a lot to the bear until now, but this was supposed to be a silly thing overall. Can actually, for the first time, hung his head in shame. Sort of. His gaze dropped. It was subtle, but there.

"Shit, I didn't mean to offend him that bad." He glanced up at the others, then to Makyna, then he stood in a panic. "I'm sorry, please, I wouldn't purposely make him that mad, 'Kyna." He pleaded, suddenly sounding scared. If she ran after him, that'd be it. He'd be done with this stupid thing, and the whole group of them. He'd been gone for days, they'd been alone together... He hoped, maybe, she'd stay, forgive him. "I'll find him later and apologize properly, I swear. I didn't actually mean that junk, it was just a song." He didn't care who went next, he just wanted to be done with this horrible scene and his horrible horrible brain. What had he done?

"I'm sorry... you uh..." He looked to the first one to have spoken after Leon leaving and sighed shakiy. "You go next, little fluff. You get to dare or truth someone else now, okay? I'm... I'm ah, I'm done for now."

His eyes snapped around the room, to each and every staring face, and his expression was shamed. Not wanting to continue, he backed up, grabbed his armor gently by the spine in his teeth and slunk away to the background of the scene- to watch, unless by some miracle someone forgave his rude ass song and dance routine.

He'd meant to piss the bear off, but not that much. He knew Leon didn't like him, but so much as to not have any sense of humor? It was a stupid song. He played it up. It wasn't fair. The teen sulked behind his armor, hugging it to his chest, but being ever careful not to jostle it and wake its sleeping occupant...

[Cancer's out on the game for now cause he feels like a shit lord. He's still there though.]

It seemed like the cat had known that he had done something wrong. He clearly must not have meant to been bad, but mistakes happened. The little lamb tilted his head as the feline sulked off, not too far away though. "Well, if you want to join in again whenever, feel free! I know you didn't mean it." Wyn thought he was a very reasonable gembound and it didn't seem fair to punish someone just because they made a mistake.

Mistakes happened, after all. This game was just supposed to be a bit of fun and the young gembound didn't want anyone to have any sore feelings over anything. He pawed at the crystal with a hoof until it spun, and then watched it go round and round. "Whoooo will it pick!" He bleated, looking around at everyone with a bright expression-- he tried so hard to keep things lighthearted. It finally landed on the lioness, a bright sandy colored cat not unlike the black one who had left.

His mentally crossed his hooves and put on a big, bright smile and bowed his head to her. "Truth or Dare, ma'am?" He asked, his oversized ears wiggling around like an absolutely huge dork.

The display by the deer was absolutely amusing! He ran around and around in circles trying to catch his tail and he succeeded. Makyna gave a cheer and a laugh. Then, it was Cancer's turn. He had to sing and when he started Ky thought he had a lovely voice and his dance was hilarious. She was getting into it, starting to laugh along with some of the crowd but she noticed a tug at her emotions. Leon's tug. Her eyes turned to the subject of Cancer's song and noticed that he was getting upset... not just upset but furious. The song was just a joke but with Leon's intense dislike of the cat it was riling him up. Cancer nearly ended up with a claw across the face but in the end Leon just stormed off. Ky sat up and called after him but he kept going.

The lioness started to get up and chase after him but the leopard caught her attention. The look she gave him was one of intense anger for making the bear so upset. However, he apologized and the look of guilt on his face quelled Ky's anger. As much as she wanted to be angry she couldn't... not when he felt so bad about hurting Leon's feelings. He even said he would apology to the bear. Outwardly Makyna nodded but she focused her magic on the leopard. It was a weak spell but she transferred a bit of her emotions to him. Letting him know that she forgave him but wanted him to find Leon as soon as possible.

Then, the sheep --bless him, he was certainly trying to keep everything light-- spun the crystal and it landed on her. Great... She certainly didn't feel like doing any dares or even any truths. Not after that event but the game was at stake here so she had to put on a smile and say, "Truth, my little friend." Unless you knew her you wouldn't be able to tell her smile was pained and that she would much rather be with Leon.

"Talking looks like this!"
Thinking looks like this...
The little girl was sleeping snugly in Cancer's pouch. She was a wee little thing, and her body mass was mostly taken up by those fluffy ears and head of hers, at least at this stage where she was starting to gain nourishment. For a long while now, she was dead to the world, doing what Fennec foexes are best at doing - being a hyper ball of energy and excitement at one moment, then sleeping soundly for the next. Quix was indeed, quite the unpredictable creature.

So it happened that the excited voices around her woke up from her slumber after quite a while. With a yawn as loud as a small creature could muster, the fennec poked her spiked head through the gap between the pouch and its flap, and put her two front paws outside the bag for a better grip. The sight of many creatures greeted her! What was going on? Did the leopard she was with take her to this wonderful place to play?

All awake now, the furball nipped Cancer's hip to get his attention. "Are these new friends?" Her fluffy tail wriggled as she looked at everyone in excitement, till her gaze fell upon Makyna. She was...beautiful. And big. Like Cancer. "Same as Cancer!" she yipped and gave her a grin, lips curled up and cheeks squishing into two puffy balls.
Oh thank goodness she wasn't going to try and get out of it too. Wynry didn't think his heart could take another Gembound wiggling out of the game just then. Not that he wanted to keep them held hostage but-- oh! Yes. Truth. She had picked truth which mean he had to come up with a question... A good, nice question. Nothing mean and definitely nothing that would pick at anyone. Not that he would ever ask such a horrible thing. Instead, he would come up with something funny... or at least interesting. He just had to think of the right thing, right?

Magic! That would work. Everyone had magic, right? So maybe he could come up with something fun. "What happened the first time you tried to use magic?" Maybe it wouldn't be funny, but there was always a good chance of failure for the first casting right? And then there was all the trouble of trying to get it right. Further more, it would tell him what kind of magic she had-- something that he was curious about. Did she have water magic, like his best friend? Only one way to find out.

And boy, would he be amazed to find out that a big tough lioness had the same magic he did. The world was such a fantastic place.
